Great work man, what to say… Keep it up!
Great Sculpting, Awesome detail!
Kind of reminds me of The Droogs From A Clockwork Orange, Can’t put my finger on why?
Actually I can! It was the nose looked like a big willy so imagine my surprise when I scrolled down!!!
Where on earth did this come from? I’m off to have strange big willy monster dreams!
Keep on Z-ing (I think!)

Wow! Thanks thanks thanks to everyone! This is really a special day for me, I’ve been looking for so many years up there to amazing sculpts that this is a true present for me Cannot say thanks enough
Well, this is the idea behind this character:
The Reproductors breed live just outside a village, in a swampy forest. They are sort of legendary creatures for common people and no one knows where they are or their true aspect, just silhouette in the darkness heritage from ancient tales. They live in some sort of shacks that in the centuries have been stack up so much that now seems to be a unique huge temple. They are really weak creatures, they eat just bugs and little animals that fall or get trapped into the cavity of their throat that act as a carnivore plant. The chosen girls from the village are the only opportunity for the reproductors to get sons, all the girls after the birth die so really no one could tell about the true aspect of those creatures. It’s obvious what they do but for the people from the village they are so legendary that no one could think they are so ugly and sick. Instead girls really think that the chosen ones could have a better life in the legendary temple.
All the piercings they have in the cavity is both for hierarchy in the breed and because this way they simulate tiny lights blinking and bugs are attracted from light so while the reproductors sit in the darkness of their temple could attract insects without moving reflecting the light coming from outside. The chains in the “THING” are there because they are too weak to get an erection so when it’s time to couple they raise their hand…
I’m very sorry about this terrible english and sorry but I had to translate everything first take me some time…anyway this is part of the background I imagined behind this creatures, it’s very banal but really helped me a lot while thinking about his aspects. And also could answer to some question for example about the cavity…anyway take it for what it is, nothing more than a simple background.
thanks to everyone again!
@Intervain: so there is not a “reproductress” but just simple woman, by the way this creature is very similar to a human as measure…I mean, the height
@daemon3d: thanks man, I’m a big fun of your artworks
Bye,
Fede
It is sick in a beautiful way
(Alternatively it is beautiful in a sick way)
Edit: Cool back story, too.
What a cool unit…I feel inspired now to make a monster version of “Buster Gonads”
Well, er…um, yes…interesting. Looks like he’s part human, part bird, and one part horse.
He also looks like he could compete at the summer olympics as a pole vaulter.
Nice work man.
keep it up.
That gives me a seriously rock hard skin turd. One of my favorite ZB sculpts ever…Uber bravo.
Mmmmmmm, dark and bizarre… but anyway outstanding.
Great rendering and interesting character, hope to see more from you.
Do you have website or gallery?
All the best
Victor Marin
very nice modeling & character design
woah!
I’ve been thinking long and hard for a while now about achieving top row by modeling a hyperreal scrotum in ZBrush…now somebody’s beat me to it…well done you
i could see why this is giving people nightmares, and wen i first saw it, i thought it was a disgusting idea. now that i hear your explanation for the legendary being, i still think its a disgusting idea, LOL. but once able to think beyond the d*ng, its a well thought out, beautiful, powerful piece of art. you may just have the mind of a genious fantasy sculpture.
“Long” and “hard”, eh?
So, what is this, Dirk Diggler: The Zombie Years?
To be honest, I’m mostly commenting because I actually found the usual batch of polite compliments in this thread to be pretty funny, given the, um, confrontational nature of the original post. My first reaction to seeing the pictures was “aaaaaargh, what the HELL?!!”, not “hmmm, some nice modelling”.
Thanks again!
@ilusiondigital: my website is http://lodenfactory.altervista.org
There you can find a gallery, mail, etc…Thx
Here a little turntable, the compression is killing any details
opened the topic saw the head, loved the lighting of the render. continued to scroll down and there was this massive slong…i did not expect that.
excellent work i love the neck-mouth as well.
i am curious of the power of your machine. i have 2ghz core duo processor and 2gb ram, and i can not run a model as detailed as yours. im curious of the power i need to get to that level.
congrats for the top row my friend, well deserved!
I don´t know…I have mixed feelings about this piece of “art”. Art kan be beautiful, weird, ugly, disturbing. This freak of nature is just plain disturbing to me… sure chains and all is kind of cool and has some solid modeling behind it but sending this one to top row was not a decision I would make. To provoke sometimes work in positive ways but in this case it does not…not on me anyway…
Now please take your talent for the sick and twisted and do an even more weird character without a mega d*ng…
And since you asked if we like it…no I don´t. But keep up the modeling you sure have the skills to make some interesting creatures…
EDIT: Had a look in your user gallery and homepage and saw some great characters without big genitals so why not make more of those H*ll perhaps I´m old fashioned and a bit harsh but …hehhe no this fella of yours did not make a good first impression on me.
Congrats Fede, te l’avevo detto che avresti spaccato con questo design
Again, top notch work, great attention to details and a very original and interesting design. Happy to finally see something that’s not always a troll, a goblin or a hulk.
Eonsuu:
I respect what you said but I definitely don’t agree. For two reasons, and I’ll explain why:
First reason - As you just said, art exists in a moltitude of forms of expression and that’s why it is so special and immortal.
Now, it’s clear that the only thing that bugs you regarding the piece of my friend Federico it’s the massive and long ***** that the creature has.
And I can understand this, since you are probably not the single person who could be “bugged” by this kind of sexual imagery.
But before shooting those type of comments I’d like you to read the inspiring and interesting story that Federico has invented BEFORE even starting to sculpt this creature.
I personally don’t see anything that’s really gross or disturbing. I’d rather be disturbed by Pyramid Head from Silent Hill or those rotten nurses squeeling at you.
And the Silent Hill it’s even a stupid example
Look at some ancient paintings like “Saturn devouring his son” or “The Nightmare” by Fùssli. Disturbing and grotesque yet incredible pieces of art.
So putting this to an end (since it’s getting long), try to capture what’s “beyond” the pure design and feel inside the story of the character.
It will help you to win these “feelings” and you’ll actually enjoy the experience since it will be like living inside a short or long film.
Second reason - I followed Federico during his design since he sent me a lot of wips of this creation and I am not thrilled to say that his artistic flexibility and his ability to create unique designs are really incredible and saying " Now please take your talent for the sick and twisted and do an even more weird character without a mega d*ng" or “had a look in your user gallery and homepage and saw some great characters without big genitals so why not make more of those” could be kind of offensive in a certain way. I’m sure you understand what I mean by this
So please re-consider studying this design and discovering why the creature exists in that form. Read the story from the artist, I’m sure you’ll be entertained.
I hope I did not offend you by any means with my reply.
If so, I apologize, wasn’t my purpose.
As for you Fede, bravo bravo bravo!
