Renderen's Sketchbook

These daily sketches are great!

Excellent sculpt! :wink:

Been a while.
Anyways I need to work on my likeness sculpting.
Here is my first practice sketch. The eyes are probably a little to far away from each other.
Anyways, CC is always welcome!

Another likeness attempt.
Hopefully you guys can figure out who it is.

I’m really liking your sculptin abilities. are you using the blinn material with bpr?

@Nick
Thank you. It’s just the basic material

So here’s another likeness attempt. This time its Steve Buscemi.
Hopefully you guys can tell a little bit that it’s him.

Hello! Nice sculpt in a last image.
The one thing that I would like to suggest is to make more gradual dimples that represents his irises + make some additional circles for pupil and fake “reflections”. This way it will look more natural and will not pop-up like in your image. Hope this is somewhat helpful :slight_smile:

You got some cool stuff in here! Like your Ganondorf! :+1:

thnx for the feedback guys

Still at my likeness practice. So much harder starting with just a sphere.

nice speed sculpt! knew right away it was dwight schrute from the thumbnail!

@zborn

Nice sculpt, and great job with displacement map

thx michael!

used marvelous designer for the cloth
cloth_test07.jpg

The cloth is fantastic, a short tuto should be appreciated, its almost perfect.
The only thing that bugs me is the proportion between the head and the cloth.
If you consider the cloth it should be bigger especially with the shoulders
Or the head should be smaller and would make it more realist.
But no offense its only my opinion.
