THANX RoBo!!
I was trying to think of what this reminded me of, and you’re right…It’s Fridas’ self portrait…It is different, but this does have the same ‘feel’ to it…
(Oh, and RoBo? You are nutz…But that’s another topic… )
hihi, i had to check out frida kahlo first … but i see what you mean robo … however i think this time i was just having the color feel of the brothers hildebrandt carrying in me, i visited their website just the morning before i started that painting …
Michael, yes i try that extra glaze … sounds like it could be like the dot on the i …
and another princess i have too much fun doing them … so here is princess nyasa
… and the workflow was like this :

very, very beatutiful.Nice colours.
wonderfull princess!
WONDERFUL, D!
I particularly like the ‘life’ you maintained in the shadowed areas, as well as the eloquent character you acheived in her expression…
A beautiful piece all around!
Hi Kokoro, catching up with your thread- some lovely princesses. I especially like the latest, you’ve captured a nice ethnic look- an African Uma Thurman, maybe.
hi, being a little late  … thanks for looking … yes andreseloy, i like rendering in cinema, for it makes true perspective, a feature i am very much missing in zbrush. i do recently “mix” software, and use for each task that one i think can do job best, or which one i feel most comfortable with for that job … and hi grub, nice to see you are aound again african uma thurman … must be her lips i guess
…
i have an interesting idea for a new princess, need to work that out a little, but in moment some other projects going, so stay tuned, i think there will be more princesses coming in not too far future
