Great work man.
really nice and inspiring.
Nice work.
Thanks guys!
Here’s one last render with some more post work (in Photoshop; as opposed to After Effects). I hope you guys like him!
Your predator looks so good, that even Chris Hanson has been inquiring about him!
Terrific!
Thanks guys!
Made some adjustments to the headsculpt in Zbrush and I’m starting to add more armor, bone trophies, etc.
More soon!
This totally rocks!
Thanks guys!
Here’s another detail sculpting progress update
He came out really well!
This is a great sculpt. I hope you texture him.
Thank you very much! I definitely will be texturing him :)I wanted to share the latest update with you all. I managed to do a full preliminary rig for him, and I’ve created a really crappy walkcycle to test initial deformation. So far everything works and looks good!

Things are still super rough, especially the animation, but this is a good indication of things to come! More soon!
The animation is spectacular! You can tell that the rig is very clean. Can I trouble you to ask where you got the walk cycle from? What software did you use to rig and animate?
-edit NEVERMIND I READ THE COMMENT ON THE VIDEO!
3DS MAX
Thank you! And yes, the rigging, animation and rendering was done in 3ds MAX. The walkcycle was one I had generated a while ago for another character, I simply imported it onto the rig I created for the Predator to check overall deformation.
I decided to pick this guy up again Here’s the latest (AO only) render from MAX. I rendered the normal maps for his body and head using Xnormal. More coming soon! Armor is still not detailed.
That is looking sick.
Great job
That’s coming along nicely, I really like it! Can’t wait to see how the armour details look.
Looks awesome so far!
