Polar Blast Continues

scarf trailing in the breeze?

Yes, Bill, you nailed it. That’s what I get for rushing. I’ll have to add it. 50.

Scarf or no scarf…wonderfully fun stuff! I’d like to know where I can buy one of those rockets for the ol’ Polaris?!

Hey, aminuts, thanks. There’s a dealership at the North Pole. 50.

…is beaten on the line

Full of charm and fine details. I particularly like the way you’ve constructed the trees.:+1:Simplifying forms with style!

Nice finish! Both you and the snowdude! I really like how you did the trees too.

Hi, Pilou,

My thanks, Flooze, YOU are the MASTER of simplifying forms with style. We need to be Floozed again.

KrakenCMT, yeah, I think I’m happy with this one, it has sparked more ideas though.

Thanks for looking guys. 50.

50’sKID I love it!! Really nice well finished. Definitely love the trees. Must say I am a bit disappointed though, seems like you bailed out before you took this piece to the max, or maybe I just think to big? Would love to see you go back and touch this up a bit, and the rest of the crowd and the scarf. I certainly know how challenging it can be to really get things to the level we want them. All that said This is sill the coolest thing ever an TOP ROW as far as I am concerned.

tree tutorial please?

Multimarker each section maybe? I’m just guessing though…

What? No stars? Heres a few! I love it - great work.

Harmonic, I think you’re right. It’s not the level I wanted. I was getting a little burned out on it. I have added the scarf, though. It does need more of a snowman audience, maybe one in the foreground. I will probably pull it out again.

bill and KrakenCMT–The tree was radial modeled from a lowres sphere, the radial number matching the resolution of the sphere, pulled out and pinched in to get the layer of branches. I snap-shotted the textured tree in place, turned off the texture and then, using a snow material, I shrank the tree a bit and moved it up slightly to make the snow.

Blaine, many thanks for the stars. 50.
