Ownage seems to be one of the best printing places around considering detail + paint job. I’ve been through about 5 different places comparing them all. A few years back I got one from 3DArtToPart, but of course it wasn’t painted.
I think I’ll try Ownage next time. They look awesome, and that other thread with the paint job on the super hero type guy looked great.

Incredible work Rodrigue!
The character design is gorgeous and the sculpt detail is spot on without overpowering. Another great example of 3d rapid prototyping.

Cool stuff. I’ve also wondered a few times over the years about the weight and balance thing when designing a physical object in the computer. I’m working on a piece at the moment that is fairly top heavy and tall. I’m trying to balance it but its all guess work really. Seems like it would need a large base at the bottom or hidden lead fishing weights if I 3d printed it.
