Here is an update with hair
Nice Horse!
Very well modeled…
The only cratique i could add is ,if it is supposed to be a male horse…
There is some missing equiptment…
other than that I think it is Perfect
very inspireing, I might try a horse later today…
Did you make this with Zspheres?
Thanks…
I tried to model a horse back in 1.23 and well it was okay but compared to yours it was rubbish. Personally I think this is one of the more difficult things to sculpt in 3d and have seen very few people attempt it, as the usual is to use a ready made. You are very brave to give it a go, and it has paid off a great deal.
My suggestion is to find images about muscles and anatomy of the horse as this will help a great deal in getting to look even more impressive than it already is.
If one day I can sculpt a beautiful horse in 3D i will be in heaven as it is a goal of mine (sounds silly perhaps) as in my opinion it takes true skill to get it correct. With human anatomy you can create exaggerations and create a monster, but a horse is beautiful, I guess that is why you don’t see many female models or horse models as they are the hardest to get right.
thank you for the positive comments
Polaris30 - yes it was made from zspheres
I like the model. The only thing I noticed was that the front hooves seem a little small compared to the back ones.
eddie
I like the model, I would make the legs about 4 hoves longer, and one whole leg circumfrence thicker… besides that, good job!

thank you for your excellent comments
Here is an update please critique
 critique
look at your image front view on the chest
it looks more of a bulldog or doberman pincher.
look at the Rump and look at the chest
it needs more to equal the body of a horse
or it might be how you have the Legs set into the chest and rump.
check your bottom right image
the rump back half of the horse looks like a Colt body style
but beside that great looking horse.
the legs could be a little thicker and The hooves.
the belly and sway back and tail and head and neck look perfect

The horse is great
, there is a small critique however. The hooves, they are a tad too small compared to the robust powerful body. Take a look at what I mean:

these should give a better body hoof proportion idea.
The profile is also a slight bit off, here is a profile example:

Great horse. Accept or ignore the suggested changes - as various horses exist. Depends a lot on what type you are trying to model. A very good start and an interesting subject.
Great modeling! Unfortunately it is sort of hard to see your latest update due to the choice of material.
Matt
hey whats up… first of all I congradulate you because zb2 is still the toughest program I’ve used so far… secondly… my comments are about the same as last time, I think the legs need to be a little longer… I would also, set them out about half a leg circumfrence… in addition i would make the mane a little longer, all in all, it’s coming along great, just a little more tweaking, and you’ll be there.!

This is my quarter horse, Good Time Colonel, standing in Italy
Good work. only small particular not fine
Here is an update with a different material
As a general shape it’s Ok.Problemes are when we are talking about the muscles(maybe this can help you):
thanks for the excellent comments
hi , ur model looks goood!! nice work
but i have a suggestion ,
before u start detailing the model try to get the proportions ,of the base model properly, ther is not enough detail in the legs, looks more like a wax model getting melted from the legs,
cheers
