Pixologic Release: ZBrush 3.1 Trial

yeah…any news on a mac version?

aurick,

I was going to download and install the Z3HelpSetup.exe because when I choose help in zb31 (licensed commercial version) a directory window pops up, on the title bar it says “Please locate “HelpInfo.txt” in the Help Topics folder.” I can’t find the Help Topics folder or HelpInfo.txt.

I’ve always thought it odd that 3.1 was lacking a help system when the 2.5 help system was so robust.

Great!! I was waiting for this trial a few months back. It looks good. Pixologic has taken a wise step in unleashing the creativity fow newcomers to zbrush!
Good job!!

when i try installing this on my friends computer it says there is a liscence file problem and then it asks for a liscense recover code? i dont get it

This normally happens if the trial version is uninstalled and then reinstalled, or if its folder is copied to another computer rather than using the installer.

Please contact [email protected] and include the authorization request code that the trial version is giving you.

That’s great. But I’m still waiting for a mac version that doesn’t require installing a whole other OS on my computer.

How many of you on pre-intel/PPC macs hoping it’ll be a universal binary?..I’m one of those anxiously waiting…

Simple Question, But For Mac User???

Yeah I know…stupid question, pointless really…but I’m wondering if or when I might upgrade to an intel mac. Wouldn’t want to miss out on Z3 upgrade if it’s only for the new machines when it come out.

Hi everybody!

When I open the trial page there are no download links. Any help? (Firefox 2.x).

Regards,

JF

Hi all!

I have a problem finding any download links for the Zbrush 3.1 trial over at pixologic.com/zbrush/trial . Any help?

Regards,

JF

JollyFather, When you enter the trial page there is a link ‘get the zbrush 30 day trial’ from their you will be asked to enter your email by which you will recieve the link in your inbox to download zbrush
Happy ZBrushing!!

Thank you roger_01.

I have already downloaded it. It seems that there is a problem with Firefox 2.x viewing that page (and some others over at pixologic.com), but Firefox 1.x opens the page with no problems. I have F2.x at home and I couldn’t (and still can’t) open the trial page (or for example ZClassroom page), while I have F1.x in my office and I can open it without a problem.

I think that Pixologic web designer might take a look at this little problem.

Regards and thanks again,

JF

I’ve reported this to our webmaster so that it can be looked into. Thanks!

One thing to double-check, though: Do you have the Flash plugin installed at home? If not, that would explain what’s happening.

As far as I can tell, I do have Flash plugin installed on Firefox 2.x computer. Version 9.0115.

I’ll try reinstalling it.

Regards,

JF

EDIT to add: Reinstalled Flash 9 and QuickTime7 but nothing…

I just installed Firefox 2 today. I have no problems at all with those pages. It has to be something unique to the computer that’s having difficulty. It’s not a problem with the pages themselves, or with FF2.

Well then. I’ll reinstall FF2 and see what happens…

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

JF

The first three options are only for after purchasing a ZBrush license. Demo users should use the fourth option, to run under the grace period.

If ZBrush has previously been installed on the computer, or more than 30 days have passed since installation, the demo will no longer allow a grace period. In this case, ZBrush cannot be run on that computer until a license has been purchased.

How about a target date instead of just telling us “SOON”?
