I’m going to Siggraph for the first time and I’m not really sure what to expect. What are the booths like? Will I go up to the booth and be able to play with zbrush 2.5? Or will I be able to go up to the booth and get vague answers about 2.5?

Uh, Is that a good thing? Our web guy loves flash. I can’t keep him away from it! Hear that Manuel?! I like the booth preview. That is kinda cool. Of course, the booth may change slightly. We got an awesome image from EA Montreal and then some unbelievable stuff from Pirates! Should be a good time.

I have this suspicion, due to the fact that it is highlighted that EVERYTHING can change, that there will be old wooden fruit crates with a an older 80386 Thinkpad running the demo movies about 2.5 from last Year, being powered by Aurick on a Bike which drives a Generator through a belt, while Ryan is yelling into a Bullhorn trying to keep us away from the Laptop with a whip in his other hand…

Do you need to a different pass to see the rest of siggraph? I have never been to one before, and it seems like a good place to establish some contacts.
I am still confused by the whole thing. Thank god I work for a company who pays for all that. The exhibtor pass will get you into the main exhibition where all the companies are peddling their wares as well as a few other places. However, there are limits. I would suggest checking out www.siggraph.org.
