Looks great! Love the asymmetry going on with him, and the attention to detail on his face and well everywhere haha  BTW what is the Material you are using on that last update??

Great model and nice details in the cloths and assets!

Take Care.

Nice attention to detail and form on this one! I like the shaders a lot too. Really pops the details nicely. Looks like he’s got a real attitude.

I like it. The detail with the beard and jacket is awesome :+1:

Hey Guys !

Many thanks for all your replies ! I’m really glad you liked it !

@GregStrangis : the material for the renders is a blend between cmt_deep_bronze and ok_pewter mat caps from the Pixologic Download Center / Library.

Cheers !

awesome mate… face and beard fit really well, as does everything else :D! really nice work!!

That is exceedingly bad a**. Great work.

andrei,

A most excellent sculpture, and great choice of materials! This is certainly top row. I have only one very slight crit. The folds around the belt and sword hilt might look more natural if they were slightly rounded. Cloth is a b**ch! I found a couple of resources you might look into “Dynamic Wrinkles and Drapery” by Burne Hogarth, and “Drawing Drapery from Head to Toe” by Cliff Young. I hope this is helpful, because your a very talented sculptor and I’m putting you on my personal “To Watch List”
Gary

Thanks Guys !

Hi Gary, thanks man, i’ ll certainly look for those books. Thanks again.

I will post here some detail renders and the base mesh so you could see the poly groups and the starting point. The base mesh was done in 3ds Max, all the rest was ZBrush :D.

Beautiful, what Matcap are you using?

Thanks for the tip on the matcaps! Wires look great as well as do all the props :+1: :+1: :+1:

Great job! One thing bro - his sword… This massive blade is so thin next to hilt that would be broken in first fight…

very cool. lots of character and story behind him.
