Picture frame

I’m pretty sure Jay used the SweepProfile3D tool.

Yes, I got it after all: Profile=SweepProfile3D. :o
Anybody has this Zscript please give me!
I can’t figure out how to make a hole inside this Profile???

Thanks very very much!!

The points at the top and bottom of the graph should be away from the left side. See Jay’s screenshot on the previous page. You’ll see both the points at top and bottom are away from the left side. The closer they are to the left, the closer the endpoints of the sweep profile are.

Imagine the profile graph as an xz plane which you continuously rotate in as small angles as possible around the z axis, and you will get the shape.

As Keith said : Just move the up and bottom points on the right
It was the same for me (as you see on the up post

Do you have any ideas why the frame’s edge does not look smooth at all? I tried Deformation/Smooth and Divide but…Also,
any tips for composing images/texture into the central of a frame ? It took me awhile using simple brush but you still can see the edge if you look it closely.

Zbrush is very interesting and Zpeople here are so kind! I feel life is wonderful! Thank you again!

there not smooth because you have it tiped a little bit.
to fixs it square the frame up right.
if you want to center a image in your picture frame just chose the 3D Plane tool and pick a texture :+1:

Rotate the frame with shift pressed to snap it to specific angles. I would also suggest painting first then putting the frame or giving the frame a higher z-order.

that one your going to have to shift
tool : rotate (Z) 45
