Old Munchkin

Excellent !

cupBPR_Render .jpgStarted some detail. Still far from done, needs a lot of work but I thought you mite like to see my process

Really nice. Good to see you back here Rick.

Love the folds around the eyes! Great work as always Rick.

Wonderful choice to sculpt :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1: I typed in “old munchkin” and I’m guessing that’s based on Karl Slover in his 90’s. That photo immediately put a smile on my face.

Wonderful detail and expression as always. Can’t wait to see the final version.

Had a bit of a setback this weekend when my stylist quit working. Got a new one today so I continued on him a bit. Roughed in some cloths. Still much more to do.

Lookin’ great!

I love the direction your going with that. Very cool. :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

Looks awesome Rick! Love the expression!

Nice start Rick, love to see the final piece! Maybe it’s me, it looks cute this old munchkin, but also a bit disturbing somehow.
Keep it up!

Good Job!

Great !!looking forward to see how it evolves

Very interesting piece here. At the beginning I thought he was Indian because he looked like stylized version of Mahatma Gandhi but later when you added the hair I started to think that he’s more of Chinese or eastern Asian! Could you provide a synopsis of what this project is about because I’m really excited to learn what it is.

Never mind my last post. I figured out from the title of the thread. Never the less it looks very close to a photo of old happy munchkin

excellent work - i love the expression  thanks for sharing :+1:

You can almost see him shaking to reach out already!

Nice work, and good details. Both in character design and sculpt.
