Gorgeous job on the skull ring…

Thank you lensman888

This skull ring - stunning work. And the enamel adds up to the drama, very well done.
And the presentation in the picture frames fits the theme.

To be honest, feel a bit uncomfortable with my mundane questions here
But, what’s the workflow?
First design in Zbrush, then printing in molding resin. Do you make a mold (from the holding resin) for producing wax models for subsequent iterations ?
What do you use the Micron 3D scanner for?
Can the model in Zbrush be designed hollow ?

Thanks in advance for your time,
Lisa

Hi Lisa, thank you! glad that you like it

About the workflow, yes it was printed with a Solus3D printer ( http://www.reify-3d.com/ ) in high resolution molding resin, as yo said, for be used to produce wax copies for subsequent iterations.

Micron 3D is not an scanner, is the name of the Company that distribute the printe in Spain and Europe ( http://www.micron3d.com/ )

Sure! this one is not completely hollow, wanted to get a robust and bold design this time, but on jewelry design is almost always necessary to make all models hollowed. The more accurate way of make it is with Dynamesh and Create Shell workflow.

Let me know if you have further questions, will be glad to help.

Your answer is greatly appreciated - as seen from the questions, I am still confused with the basics

Have a nice day !

Hi all! Glad to share with you this stunning creation, main reason is the power of combination between Zbrush and CAD software, in this case 3Design. Flower was made with Zbrush, where resides the power of create organic shapes which was subsequent imported into the CAD software to take advantage of the tools that the jewelry software has, there, was made all the stone setting and shank.

Zremesher is a great ally of the CAD softwares that uses meshes tools as tsplines and similar

Hope you like it!

Amazing work, love the last one. It’s really a great gallery.

It looks so perfect, that, honestly, I feel discouraged.
How many years do you work with ZBrush?
On the other hand - wow!

So clean! nice work

Thank you guys! Proud you like it!

Thanks Lisa!
You don’t need to feel on that way, I have same feeling all days watching the work from other artists and try to push myself learning all that I can from them
I’ve been working with Zbrush from the 2.5 versión, around ten years

very nice!
