Thanks Matthew, It is nice to see what one does, when broken down the way this lesson was.
I must say that I am pleased that you picked one of my images to illustrate ZBrush painting. You are truely gifted in explaining things, I certainly found out the reasoning behind some of the things I just did, and took for granted.

:slight_smile: I’m glad that you’re all getting something out of this series. Believe me, after investing about 15 hours or so into writing and programming this lesson, it gets to where you start to wonder if the time is worth it. Your response is a great encouragement and vindication.

Your precise and easy to understand approach to teaching the ABC’s of Zbrush and the hours it entails to create them are DEFINITELY appreciated by all newbie and oldie (?) alike. And the countless others that will find thier way to Zbrush in the future. That is some real posterity!

I enjoyed this tutorial, I learned allot with it also. It was really fun. Here are my results. This is also my first image I actually have completed with Z brush too, been playing around with it and learning for a few days but this is the first completed one.

Took into photoshop and played with levels and contrast other than that it was all Zbrush.

Thanx, for the tutorial. This is my first attempt at a finished Zbrush pic. I’ll keep trying more of the tutorials. Zbrush is very exciting, but a bit overwhelming, never done 3D before. bye.

Don’t be put off by 3D, I think you’ve got all the elements to really develop a style and plus, Zbrush is the easiest thing at 3D. :slight_smile:
