Hi Glenn, wow #2494 is powerful, absolutely one of my favorites! Part Velasquez part Goya and 100% Glenn.

All the best, David

Hey David

WO …Valasques, Goya…Two of my all time favorite heavy hitters…If 1% of them has rubbed off on me from studying their works over the years, then I am totally content…for the moment anyway…

I’m really happy that you like that piece David…It’s one of my favorites also…I can’t do that kind of emotional subject too often, it gets me depressed…but every once in awhile, it’s good to let those emotions flow out from where they dwell, if they are valid, and express themselves in visual form on canvas.

Hey Merry Christmas and a Happy and peaceful New Year Ahead for you and yours David…and also Lots of Creative Energy :+1:small_orange_diamond:)

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year with lots of inspiration and happiness

HI Glen,

You can check out the works of Lillian F. Schwartz (Bell Laboratories) she was a
pioneering working in the use of computers for what has since become known as computer-generated art and computer-aided art analysis,. Her work was the first in this medium to be acquired by The Museum of Modern Art. I think the ontology in your works reminds me about Lillian works

Hey…Thanks Santis… That Jaguar…It’s a main figure in the Aztec empire mythology and belief system…I guess that what can eat you and lives right in your backyard is a thing that can become a major part of your worship system over time…Happens all over the planet in most of the belief systems and their mythologies…A human type of thing related mostly to the respect to and for a fear that is valid and is due that fear and respect…

Daniel…Hey Thanks :), and Thanks also for that link…Someone new for me to study…Looks really interesting…especally the Da Vinci Last Supper painting part…I only had the time to glance at it quickly today, but will check it out more closely in the morning…Thanks Again Daniel :):+1:

Hey Guys…:)Merry Chistmas and a Wish of Hope for Peace in the New Year to come.:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

Love the analogy, worshiping your fear. Be driven by fear… It’s probably a good sign that whips are better then carrots to keep people blind from knowledge, reason and ultimately humanity…

DEC. 26, 2012

Thanks Santis.:)…Yep,…That’s why there are good gods and bad gods…a duality of purpose and intent in all of the mythologies…Control and power go hand in hand…Can’t have one without the other…Better to think for ones self, than to be told how to think by another.

To tell the truth, I can’t really follow your last posts. I tried.
Mayans were wrong, after all. As expected. They always were wrong.
Happy new year Glenn.

DEC. 26, 2012

It’s about the Aztec empire and the Christain empire NOT Mayans and Christianity. The heart viewed as scared, and the sacrifice of the scrared heart to bring good to their empire was a trait and custom shared in their time and in their own ways by both cultures and empires…In their own mind and way, the Aztec were no more wrong than the power that conquered them…Nobody involved in conquest can ever be right, or hold claim to being holier than thou.
When everyone is wrong, nobody can be right…

But enough of ritual belief systems, and the people and thoughts that they created, and are still creating…:D…It’s only ART…Take from it what you can and will, and if that is nothing, then that’s ok too:D

Hey.:D…Happy New Year Michalis, and hopes and wishes for a Very Creative one…:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

Looks really great… Deke Happy new Year !

Hi Glenn, Liking this new work a lot!

Question: Do you make prints? and also what resolution do you render your works at? I have been doing relatively small renders 2586x1778 and while printing out work for my photo exhibition on a new Epson 3000r printer, I tried to rez up some illustrations in photoshop using “bicubic smoother” the results were amazing … I went up to 4800x3300 and made exquisite 11x17 prints of them! I am really thrilled!

Cheers, David
and a Healthy and Joyous New Year!
