Thanks for the visit Deke…

A lot of things have changed over the course of time,…but the madness of humanity is not one of those things unfortunitly.

I have loosly based this last concept of mine on the theme that Goya worked with in a couple of his paintings…I have just updated it to fit humanities current predicament,…making the old theme contemporary to fit humanities current time…but as I said, some things never change with time,…the madness of humanity being one of those things that wil never change,… in spite of the well intentioned efforts of a few to do so.

Hey Santis…Thank You :)…The composition in that one is mostly inspired by the composition in the painting by Goya…The one with the giant …a symbol of war towering over the battle scene below him…the link to it is posted a couple of post back on this page in here / post #2316 / …Borrowing successful compositions from the old masters, modifying them to fit the needs of ones own work and incorporating them into a new scene is a good method to use while perfecting ones own compositional skills, and will lead to successful compositions…most of the time that is…

Hey…Thank You FramedWorld :)…Just having some fun with the lighting using LightCap…I like that one also, but it seems kind of flat to me…the horse and rider should stand out more than the background/middleground and forground…I’m trying to make that happen in this latest post…More lighting information on the horse and rider…Almost getting there, but not quite there yet…The darker version is just me experimenting with a Rembrandt style of lighting…Mostly just having fun experimenting and learning…
