Nice work, the high heels definitely go with the design. I agree about less around the mid section to show off the cool armor parts and aid in flexibility. It’ll also probably make it easier to pose the model with less hanging around the middle.

Also the blue light coming through is a really nice touch.

Stunning model. It’s a pity that her equipment is covering that beautiful waist area though.

masterjaggs: I feel like the original head was my go to generic head. I thought it’d try something a little different and possibly more interesting. The head as it is now could use some adjusting but it’s growing on me.

Sycron: Hehe, the materil in the second picture is zbrush’s basic material, basic meaning not mat cap. It has a little more spec and some color tweaking, i forget what exactly, and it’s using two lights. I can attach it to this thread if you’d like.

ishii: I have a polygon rim around the eyes that i was going to use for eyelashes, I hope without this there, or with the eyelashes in, it will look better. If not, I will fix it!

HellGrind: I hear ya there. I like how the armor around the hip comes together and the belts block it :frowning: Haha yes, the shotgun is supposed to be an extendable sword with a laser edge! I know you can’t tell from this shot, I’m planning on making it more obvious in a posed render. There’s a chance it wont work but i’m going to try.

Ville: Thanks Ville, The pouches should be high enough to follow the rib cage. I’m sure there will be some trouble with deformation that might need to be solved with it’s own rig so it can float over the rest of the model when she moves.

lucaswschmidt: Ok cool, i wasn’t sure if the blue was too bright but i like it too, I’ll keep it in the textures.

Capital_G: :confused:small_orange_diamond:o haha if you really really like that head, i’d better do textures and materials on that one too and try them both on her to see which one looks better.

I’m glad to hear the accessories are getting in the way of the armor, it might be too much stuff on her. I’ll try a couple combinations of her gear to see if something is more better.

This is fantastic. I really like the clean version of her armor vs. all the accessories though.

I’ve finished rigging and painting her. I rebuilt and textured her head again, I’m feeling better about it now. I’ll look again tomorrow and see if i’m still happy with it before moving on. Materials, hair, lighting, rendering are next, i can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm tuning materials and doing some test renders. The reflection is outta whack and the scarf needs to be replaced completely but i thought this render had a cool feel to it. ![RenderTest_015.jpg|1024x1024](upload://2d2Lwo5atghvnLfpTELJhuRICM2.jpeg) Does it look like Bird poo on her shoulder? :cry: My map is catching a lot of reflection there.
