Efstratios: Yeah, looking at it now, the crotch does look very short between the belly button. I know thick legs aren’t ideal, but on this project, i like the idea of thicker legs. Somethings still bugging me about the upper leg.

locky10: T.T haha. Thanks for the input. I think real hair will help the face a lot. This is just a stepping stone for other projects so in the future i’ll try to match the face to the character, whatever that may be.

askue: Thank you. I hear ya, I need to finish the feet and hands and give it another polish pass. I’m just so lazy with feet because i usually put shoes or whatever on them. I’ll stay strong.
Totyo: Thanks Totyo. Not too much to say about this one. Just your run of the mill basemesh and moving points around until it looks right. I did start with a mesh in maya that i felt was vaguely feminine. From there i used zbrush to move larger forms around, and i did go back into maya to use a lattice to make the legs shorter than i originally had them.
filoppo: haha Thanks. I usually do big boobs and smaller hips, but i like her big ass in this one.
mjolnir: 2x’s for the feet looking too big, i should try smaller.

kotter: Thanks. Video game modeling is great, but it always makes me sad when i see them finally in game. It really bummed me out when i saw avatar and how awesome CG can look. So I’d like to try my hand at some higher res film-ish work. I did a drawing of a girl in some soft armor with boots and gloves, i know it sounds generic right? but i think it will be fun. So my plan is to try some nice renders with a high poly model.

tobbeo: Thanks Tobbeo, I hear ya. I think once it gets to a certain point, it comes down to what your bodytype preference is. Hopefully 1 more pass and it’ll be good for now. I think antropus uses a model he has evolved throughout the years(sorry if i’m wrong!) and i suspect i’ll do something similar with this girl.

I definitely love the look of this model…sexy, natural feeling… and it is sad that you will be only using the head but i do agree it is nice to use for anatomy, especially, if you are using retopology for clothes, just to extract the form… how long did it take you to do this ?

HaloAnimator: Up to that point was 5 days.
I lowered her crotch a bit and that seemed to help a lot. I made some gloves and boots. My plan is to have hard armor on the hands and feet, and soft armor on the main body. I’ll work on that next.
