A tribute to the great Marlon Brando as Vito Corleone,one of my favorite character.
I took 2 days to complete this bust from start to final composting in pHotoshop.
I have never realy tried likeness so this was chalenging for me.I created the whole organic stuff in Zbrush from scrtach and then retopologize for mesh optimization.The final image was rendered in 3ds max with displacement map and normal map from zbrush.Photoshop was later used for presentation purpose.

Hello,
Its been a while since i posted.Actually searching for job right now.I have rarely complete my 3d work and this is one of them i guess.
Dedicated to my hometown Kerala and its amazing culture!!!
I started with basic box mesh and then went up with this guy.It is own concept and design.I had sketched him on paper before strting on 3d.
Everything was blocked in 3ds max but details and organice stuff is like always sculpted in zbrush.

Concept-
Inspired from the kathakali dancers of south india,i made a character who protects their codes of law and the culture.

I rendered this in 3ds max using mental ray.I am not a good texture artist so any comments and crit wil be welcome.
I have even demonstrated my basemesh of organic stuff.The last one was retoped in max and zbrush.

I really like this last guy. My first thought though was that his head and body don’t really gel. I like that simian thing you’ve got going on in his face but could you somehow take that into his body as well? It feels a little too incongruous at the moment. Too human. Just my 2 cents.
