Hi Guys,
Here is my last one for the Blizzard Fest. Hope you like it
Cheers,
Sam
That blizzard centaur is awesome! I like the screengrabs better than the final render, because your eye can rest on some of the forms, whereas the textured version is a bit too busy. But still, gorgeous design and execution! I like the strategic horn placement. Did you sculpt the hard-surface stuff in zbrush as well?
Thanks Nagulov, I’m totally agree with you. I spent more time on sculpting, but there is still not enough for color and render adjustments.
For the Hard surface, it’s a mix beetwen speed sculpts on Zbrush + retopology for the ornaments.
I can now show you some stuff I worked on for the last game of Cyanide : Styx Master of Shadows ( http://www.styx-thegame.com/)
All the models were done with Zbrush.
Enjoy

Ans some heads
Nice set of sculpts. I like the style.
Very Inspirational thread! Super nice sculpts.
That must have been great fun to sculpt. How much time did you have per character? Also did you reuse models, stuff like that?
Héhé thanks,
For the head I have done a base mesh so I can re-use a clean topo + uvw, and just take my time on sculp. I’ve done this for al bodies too.
For the head it was arround 1 or 2 days each, for the different character arround 2 weeks (with the base body for proportions) and Rakash (the hero) was arround 3 weeks more the reviews.
And yes some time I’ve reused some stuff (shoes, belts…)
Great work on Styx. I really like your style.
Great work on the Styx project, the sculpts are super tight!!
Mmmmmm yeah, this will be in the Top Row real soon. Great Sculpts !
Thanks you !
Ahah I hope it’s enough ^^
Really good joob
.
I am curious, have you made the main character from nothing, or have you the old model from “Of Orcs And Men” ?
