Very nice work for a wonderful idea. I agree, some of those old stories had the most amazing descriptions of wonderous things. Nice to see yet another cool work that was not imagination limited. 
Wow! I would love to see this in print at full resolution. Hopefully you will submit it to the Ballistic Character Design book or another art compilation. I would buy it!

This is one of the first pieces in a long time I’ve really enjoyed looking at purely from a design standpoint that its not another demon or human head.
