My Ideal PSP

great. when i build u one ill drop you a line.

Very nicely done. :+1: :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

I’m also including the term; Hard Surface Modeling in my post so the search engine can pick it up. This is an excellent example, and there’s been a number of queries, about the subject, lately.

I should probably add; Hard Edge Modeling, Non Organic Modeling.

Anyway, Thanks for posting this. I want to show this to a friend who’s interested in ZBrush 3, but thinks it is only for modeling heads and monsters.
Your example, along with a few others, that have been posted previously on the subject, should be enough to convince him.

Wow! Amazing…

very nice modeling, but why use zbrush for this kind of model? wouldn’t it be a lot easier and faster to model this in max/maya instead of zbrush?

The very low res base (oval of the body) was done in max, but you can do it in 5 seconds in zbrush: make a plane, with texture, paint in black the psp body, convert texture into mask, then mesh extract and you have a clean psp body.

Regarding hard modeling in zbrush, like I did for my sniper rifle, combining all the tools of zbrush, I garanty its cleaner aand easyer for max, for cases like that.

There’s nothing faster than droping an alpha…

Nice Job seb,

You are one on the only guy who modeling mecanical stuff in zbrush!! hehehe!! Superbe!!

Tres cool!!

That’s pretty cool looking Sebcesoir.
It looks like something someone would create in ‘Inventor’ or ‘Solidworks’. :+1:

Thx
Here’s my xp version, with the mouse and the graphic pen that allows easy internet browsing, chatting, text writing etc…
Rendered in realtime in zbrush3.

Very cool. I’ll have one please.

They look great Seb…(I think the last two renders could use a little perspective…)

And for the final: zbrush 3.5, light edition. The special version that run on low ressources portable machines.
As you can see, the touch screen also emulate a graphic tablet with few customisable touches.
On the left of the psp, theres a keyboard button that quickly switch between keyboard or graphic tablet mode.

Of course, before all those multimedia stuffs, the PSP II would be a kickass console, with its 2 big analogic sticks, 4 front trigger, it would be the best portable console for first person shooters and flight simulators.

Great job. Btw - it was done already. Is called LAPTOP.

Try to put your laptop in your pocket!

Palm top then?
I would like to have powerfull machine of that size though. Hell - I dont mind good old standard PSP :stuck_out_tongue: . Btw - you saw that new PSP? Slimmer and lighter? SONY guys are crazy making that hardware  Send them your idea - who knows…

It would be sick to have Zbrush running on that small of a device!! hahaa

and yea, you should send them that idea! I would buy it!

They might not be fan of the nintendo ds similarity…

But I was checking at the micro pc prices… 2 000$ at least…
Even if a double screen psp might not run zbrush, dpoing photosh or play fps with dual stick might be freakin cool…

Imagine watching a dvd on the uper screen while drawing on the lower…

By the way do you have there adress? I’m gonna send them to see the reaction if there is!

Vraiment une trés grande idée.
J’ai une DS est l’idée de d’utiliser ZB sur une console
portable me fait réver…
J’ai vue ton site et je trouve tes travaux vraiment allucinant…:+1:
Mais je n’arrive pas a comprendre comment tu fais pour avoir
des formes géometriques aussi régulieres sous ZB…

Bonne continuation et vivement la suite…

Wow just a mix between DS, palm and PSP… and the coffe USB machine?

Very cool!

:+1:

Once more I can see - it’s not software that make tech/organic models, it’s artists head

amazing Idea for Zbrushing !! cool stuff !
