Seb my man very good job here. The short is still in the making. I have updated the script if you wanna see it. Email me i’ll have a chat to you about it. I did some animation tests as well but still getting the rigg right. Speak to you soon buddy. GOOD STUFF!

Awesome job, great character. The render is excellent as well. My only suggestion is to shift the eyes a different hue and value from the skin.

poor guy !!

Always good to see 3D with the warmth of the drawn line.
Not easy to achieve - superb.

He looks French too me.

Awesome work! Obviously the model and 3D work is well done, but this is a great piece of art. I say this because it caused a reaction in me that most 3D work however well done does not: feeling. This guy’s look reminded me of a thousand different guys I’ve known that live stuck in a cubicle next to 700 other cubicles on the 30th floor of the blah blah corporation regional office. You can’t get that pasty, hollow look from anything else but monitors and overhead flourescent tubes for 12 hours a day.

Ever see the movie the Dark Crystal from Jim Henson Studios? There are these little pod people that the bad guys suck the life energy from through their eye sockets. That’s what is happening to this guy, and was happening to me.

You’ve reminded me why I work from home. Thank you so much. Your work is art; it made me react, think, feel.

Excellent.

He looks French too me

He looks english too me!
Pilou

Great work…nice to see someone put their effort into expressions and emotions in a simple and powerful style and not just bury their work in loads of details and a “dead look”…He kinda makes me think of Michael Douglas’ character from “Falling Down” :)…keep it coming!!!

Well done!
I also like the rythm of where you put details. With an amazing tool like ZBrush it’s hard to “reduce to the max”…so less is once again more!
Bien fait
