First attempt at a beauty shot. critiques and comments are welcome. Its coming down to the end of the challenge:o
Man I’ll say it one more time; there’s too much great work that gets totally overlooked on ZBC. Sorry I haven’t seen it before now, but your production image of the demon and girl are one of the best I’ve seen anywhere!
@voodoodad- Thank you much for the kind words. Yes, ZBC is a bottomless pit of inspiration. That s why open it every morning just so i don’t miss anything:p
There are alot of people have Mermaids on the mind! Here is my attempt at creating Mami Wata. Still very much a work in progress;)
just a revisit.

This is a good piece, nice design and comp, I hope you get a chance to finish it.
Conan fan art. based on the lore of Robert E Howard, Simon Bisley’s Illustration as well Sheridon Doose’s kit.
@johnchen Thank you for the encouragement!
Like Voodoodad, how the heck did I miss this post? WOW, everything you do is right up my alley for style. Very, very cool looking. But, gotta tell ya, that CONAN, you hit it out of the ballpark with that one. Very intense. Great work.
@Thnx Dragon sounds like you might be into airbrushed chester chester vans as well!
PS
I am a fan of your hot road!
High FreshDuck, you talking about this dude: http://www.customworld.com/pages/about.html If so, ya, never heard of him… but now I did and I do like his work. Interesting thing, in my youth (while still in high school), I use to airbrush vehicles and made pretty good money back then doing it. But, as quickly as I got into it, I got out of it (the paint would get me ‘high’… and I wouldn’t know it until I would step outside in fresh air-I hated wearing masks as they bothered me while I worked). And since I knew that was not right, I quite doing that type of work. I did continue airbrushing, just on Cresent Board with DR MARTIN water colours and Frisket, much safer (I know, vehicles and artists boards… two different beast). But, all that airbrushing lent it’s self to colouring comic books in Photoshop some years later.
Anywho, I am glad you dig my HOT ROD, thanks a million. I am going to finish the sculpt once I am done with my ‘The Mayan’ sculpt. I stopped cause the dang car and all it’s parts got to ‘poly heavy’ for ZBrush to handle. Will be retopoing it to bring down the ‘weight’ (since I am not seeing QRemesher coming out just yet-perhaps in ZB5??).
Again, I REALLY, REALLY like the way YOU work. There is an intensity there that I am very much enjoying (heavy duty per say). That Saber Tooth (it looks to be one), that came out way brutal! The smooth, loose, deep, styled (graphic) look to it is well… BAD ASS! You should paint up SB’s Barbarian and your Tiger. Or just continue sculpting some more wicked stuff like you know how to do-
You are already in my FAVORITE ARTISTS folder and I am most certainly a fan of your work now (I will be stalking you-:D.) Just kidding of course, but seriously, I can’t wait for the next piece you come up with.
PS: Oh, almost forgot, I like how you present your pieces up here as well, nice touch-
Best, Dragon.
Cool stuff. Like the tiger alot.
very interesting works! look forward to seeing more stuff from you
@DRagon Thnx for the funny story! The artist link that you put up wasn’t who I was talking about, but I still respect the talent. In my neighborhood we used to joke around calling people who drove big A-team like vans Chester Chester child molester! We would say that those type of vans were the vans that kidnappers drove. At the same time you would see some of the “raddest” murals. http://cyclopeatron.blogspot.com/2010/07/more-fantasy-van-murals.html
Also thank you very much for adding me to your favs folder. Its an honor!

Keep Inspired and Inspiring…Always…

@ SpiritDreamer thank you very much ! I appreciate the words of wisdom… :idea:
I have always wanted to make a centaur like creature as well as use fibers. Kit bashed Kittytaur. I mean caveman club as a hammer and screws as nails.
I’m loving your style, I’m definitely keeping an eye on your works now
Amazing character style!!
You are talking to a young man who is dressed in what were once very good clothes, although
they are now two or three washes from being on their way to the trash heap. Yet, he wore a red
hat, that was not only in good shape but beautiful and must have cost a pretty penny. It made you
forget the clothes because it made him look regal, yeah, Regal. Your friend, in what he takes for
a whisper, tells you all that in your ear, sarcastically. The young man surely hears him but seems
to pay no attention… - John Mason
@Jonboywalton82 thank you
@chaman thank you
