Great. Now I’m going to be having weird Romper Room dreams.
Awesome! Romper Room! ROFLs.
If I had the time I would model that puppy…errr…bug.
Do Be a Good Bee.
Don’t Be a Bad Bee.
I wonder if we hit 1 to 1,5k posts till release.
Maybe we’ll get a cookie…
Somewhere out there tonight there is a group of people
who have worked long hours to produce a product.
Would take a guess and say they are approaching the
end of their string.
Whatever they are getting paid is probably not worth
the work and sacrifices they have put in.
They don’t own the company, they are cogs in the bigger wheel.
Make no mistake this is the job they picked.
But at a time like this, it would be the nice, correct thing to have a bit more patience and support them until the final moment.
To give to them what we ourselves would like to see, kindness and understanding.
Having said that…
MOVE YOUR ASSES!!!
Respectfully.
Really, bicc, well said. Despite that, I think the product is DONE. Pix is probably consulting an astrologer or Twitter priestess on the timing.
A BIG small_orange_diamond
to those toiling minions of code under the hood!!!
And, to coin a phrase…GIT 'ER DONE!
Romper room OMG, now I am going to have nightmares, no one needs to talk about the blue thing. Okay?
I think that who ever is hosting the downloads does not have the capacity to handle the amount of request. Hopefully they are securing more bandwidth and some robust servers. I am guessing that they will have that all worked out in a few days, weeks, or months.
Checked out the tuts this morning and once again they are really good.
Do not know about the Spheres. Would be great from initial muscle def then sculpt overe it. Would be nice to be able to move the object around after the final touches are done and see if the muscle movement is possible.
Would make for some out of this world models.
I figure the special effect folks are in for some real fun soon.
I must have blacked out the Romper Room show…yeah, I’m familiar with the name, familiar with that fact that the show was on for like 40 years. I just missed out on that particular brand of pre-teen trauma. That and HR Puffinstuff.

if you complain about something free, then you should be made to pay for it.
UPDATE 9/8:
We are working to release 3.5 for the PC as quickly as possible. Last minute issues arose which forced the delay, and we are working overtime to correct this. The launch could happen at any time.
Once the launch has taken place, please wait two business days before contacting Pixologic to inquire about not having received an upgrade link. As stated below, links will be sent out in batches and it may take a couple days for them all to be sent. We have updated the instructions below to reflect the new schedule. Please do not follow the original schedule to contact Pixologic regarding your upgrade status! Inquiring before the launch has happened, or within two business days of launch will not speed anything up. It will in fact slow us down.
We appreciate your support of Pixologic, and ask for just a bit more patience while we work to provide you with the most polished ZBrush 3.5 possible.
@hypnoz Nice, highly philosophical, i’m sure a man condemned to the chair would agree, after all its free too.
Hey looky there, an update.
Did some of you actually burn a day hitting refresh reading this thread as suggested? That would be sad. Once every few hours is good enough.
Nothing in life is free. In the end you have or will pay for it.
just got an email from this thread. but the post is missing now, was it legit?

Hehe, I’ve actually responded a few times but the posts keep getting deleted.
Definitely legit. Check the support center.
Its on the support center, and i don’t understand why it was deleted (along with other messages)…
Things are a foot.
Ya beat me to it spaceboy412.
The date for notifying Pixologic of not receiving an email for the update has been changed to read:
“If you do not receive your upgrade instructions by two business days after the actual release of version 3.5 please submit a support ticket to let us know. We will be able to look into the matter and get your upgrade instructions sent to you. Please do not submit a ticket before then, as we will not be able to assist until after all upgrade emails have been sent by Cleverbridge. Upgrade support tickets that are submitted within two business days of the actual ZBrush 3.5 launch will be closed.”
There you have it…September 9 means nothing any more.
