Ι think it’s something we all did sometime! Getting a lot of work and return to the previous one. Good choice!
Good choice Moni ! definitively better…
I like this pose much better. The other one seemed a little unstable. This one seems more rooted into the ground like a tree. I would give a little twist in his neck so that all the lines of his pose arent straight or angular but curved and graceful. The pose of the legs gives it the foundation it needs.
I would raise his head a little so he isnt looking straight at the ground. He’s got three eyes. not all of them should be looking at the ground or you might as well just have one set of eyes.
Still gonna do the leg horns?
You’re right Monja, this pose is far more powerfull. I’m glad I’m not the only one “wasting” time on stuff that won’t make it into the final piece. Experimenting is so important when designing/developing/concepting and is always encouraged !
!
Hey Moni,
Good choice:p Its a much more powerful pose. Its looking really nice, your just powering through these sculpts I wish I could get mine done so fast!
I didn’t think the previous pose was that bad, but agree the 2nd pose works better . Looking awesome Moni
hey moni. this looks very cool so far! i am looking forward to see your second critter
i don’t like horses to much. but yours… yeah, this is the coolest horse i’ve ever seen xD

Thank you very much for the suggestions. Yep – I think there will be horns on the legs in the end (if it doesn´t look too bad ;).)
Etcher:
I´m so glad to hear you agree! Yeah – I´m waisting soo much time for things like that although I really don´t have that time at the moment.

HUMPATIKI WIP 01
Hello all, here are the first HUMPATIKI WIP pics.
I think I need to retopo the mesh. No sure, though. The Topology stuff is still a mystery to me.
I haven´t done much… and now I have to drive to the hospital. My cat bite me. Ouch! Cats have some cool bacteria in their mouths so I tried to call my doc but it´s weekend (why do these things always happen on the weekend ??) The doc from the hospital said I need a tetanus vaccination…so I have no choice.
My cat has some inflamation in his jaw. That´s why he bite me (I tried to give him the antibiotics the vet gave me) but – no chance, so I have to drive to the animal hospital later, too.
–see you soon –

ah yeah! that’s a funny one!!
very good start!!
Good job on your work, moni. You probably dont remember me so that wont matter to me. Your doing a great job on your animals and the such. Good job. Your a ton better than I am at Zbrush.
Monja! Hope all goes well with you and your cat! The initial Humpatiki sculpt is great (again-great use of volume and silhouette) ! Lookin’ forward to the updates!
base is luking pretty intresting …
lets see how it emerges into a gud character !!
Gud luck.
Awesome works
Wow you can really see you moving forward in your sculpting. Really nice sculpts man.
The Base Mesh is really cool Moni, great stuff, looking forward to the next update
. Hope your cats doing well
Very nice base mesh, Moni…looking forward to the next update already!
I had no time this weekend for Zbrush and ZBC so I have no new update now.
I had to bring my cat Mikesch ( speak like me+cash ) to the animal hospital. He´s still there. It´s been an high-risk surgery but the vet called me and said Mikesch is doing well. I´m very happy. I´m 23 and he is 13 – we grew up together and he´s like my brother.
The vet from the animal hospital said “Please come for him this evening. He´s a very vicious cat and bite two assistans immediately after the anesthesia. He´s doing well so you can take him home”.
Yeah – now I know he´s doing well!
Today+tomorrow I´m at home because I have to bring my cat to the normal vet everyday that they can check and clean the wound but I think I´ll post a new update tomorrow.
My finger hurts like hell but I don´t care – there are 9 left for Zbrush.
THANKS VERY MUCH FOR ALL THE COMPLIMENTS!
I really appreciate it!
