i like your last creature~ keep rocking:evil:
The detailing around the eyes is looking really nice! very impressive
Keep it out throughout the whole sculpt;)
Hi Monja, beautiful work on the horse’s head! Again, love seeing how you refrain from going into High subd levels and concentrate on volumes when sculpting the eyes/nose/mouth. ! About the jpeg stuff: it really is a trade-off between image dimensions - file size and image quality. I tend to post my images with a relatively bad quality, to keep the download time fast.
See ya!
hey moni. this is looking just awesome!!! really like it.
and really like your fast learning curve! you’ll make it MUCH faster you think!
really… you are making me stunning how fast your skills grow.
Nice work on the horse-like form! I also like its ‘grumpy’ look.
Nice update. I like the face and eye arrangement. He looks like he has a bit of attitude too. Keep it up
OlirO:
Hi OlirO, thank you very much! Regarding the double mouth – sorry, I just can´t explain it. I´m really shocked that I can´t after soo many years of english lessons in school. :o
I hope you´ll see it when I´ve worked further on the head.
It doesn´t look good at the moment and I doubt it ever will.
PS: Best regards from my PC devil to yours.
pitchepuck:
What a post! You were scared?? I was scared as I read your post! lol
Erm… “[color=sandybrown]vere is my bed”… vhaaat? You´re veird! Heh heh. Anyway – Thank you wery much.
YONA:
Zalut my best french fan! Thank you very much for the kind words, YONA! You´ll see my next project soon. I´ll enter with another creature. The horse is way too uncreative.
weiluntsai:
Thank you very much.
benny350:
Hey benny, thank you very much! Have you posted a new update in the meanwhile? I´ll check your thread later.
Etcher:
Hello Etcher. Thank you very much! And thanks for taking time to reply on my jpeg-question. I gave up (for now) – no time to find it out at the moment. I´m too busy with other things and the contest.
I´m still waiting for your new update! I´m waiting and waiting and waiting . . .
wethand:
Hey wethand, thank you very much for the kind words! Das hört man gerne! Du weisst ja – ich verbringe jede freie Minute mit Zbrush.
Hast Du irgendein neues Projekt gestartet? Gruß aus der Heimat!
Marsyas:
Hey Marsyas, thank you very much! Yeah – he´s veeery grumpy. Heh heh.
Captain Sensible:
Hey Captain, thank you very much!

W.I.P – 05
Here´s a little update. I hadn´t much time for Zbrush this weekend. That´s not what I had expected! Hrrrrr
Therefore no smalltalk today. Next I´ll post the update on cgCoach, too, and start with the posing then.
I´ve to hurry because I´ve also to start drawing the concept sketch for my second entry (we have to enter until June 7th).
See you later.
C+C more than welcome.
I like the horn set up. Very nice. The jaw bone could be a little more angular. It looks a little like its swollen instead of bone and muscle. which he would need a lot of since he has two mouths. Or it at least looks like he does. I would just go with one. Also i would lengthen the face a bit more. It seems a bit too short.
You are doing very well.
Thank you very much, DAnconia! You´ve made a good point! You´re right… it looks swollen… without any bones and stuff.
Well, he has three horns and three hooves on every leg, three tails… and TWO mouths ? It just doesn´t make any sense .
Coz we are able to change our concept I´ll scrap this idea.
Next update = One mouth.
Thanks again for pointing that out!
Hi Moni, nice work on the horns, they’re wonderful, I think that you need to mark a bit more clearly the two mouths though, they should be able to accommodate teeth and bone structures and muscle form, you marked the position but need to add the rest to make them credible and immediately identifiable for what they are. It’s bit narrow where the second one fits now so maybe you want to increase that space. Another little thing I notice is that the front legs need some work, maybe the knee is a bit low and the wrtist (I’m sure there s a proper name) attaches to the upper side of the back of the hooves rather than the lower.
It’s a solid horse structure that’s coming up though, some tweaking and a bit of emphasis on its peculiar characteristics is all that’s needed to move it to the next stage.
Hey Moni! I’m a bit surprised by these horns! I wasn’t expecting this
They look nice but i think that you should change the base of the smaller one by thicken up it… or maybe by adding some mini details to make it different from the others…What’s bothering me is the fact that they all look alike… if you can make the smaller one unique it would add some character to your creature.
But it’s a personal opinion maybe it’s not the good choice…
Hi Monja, again, a great update; love the horns! I think you’re right on changing the mouth to just one. !
On my stuff: got something cookin’ … you’ll see… . .
maxinkuk:
Hey max, thank you very much for the compliments and the great suggestions!
Regarding the double mouth – I´ve decidd yesterday that he will have only one mouth in the end.
Regarding the knees and the wrist (I knw the german word… fetlock in english?)
– I agree, you´re right! I´ll work on these parts… and on all other parts, too.
Thanks again for the help! I appreciate it.
YONA:
Hey YONA thank you very much for the great advice! I´ll do my best to make it better (when I´m done with the rest and my concept sketch for my second entry).
MerZi beaucoup.
Etcher:
Hey Etcher, thank you very much!
Yeah – I think ( now ) one mouth looks better in the end.
Regarding your stuff: Hopefully soon!

Well done Moni-Poroni. Go to see a good update.
