Hey Moni! Just droppin’ by to say hi! Well, actually I’m looking forward to seeing your next concepts/sculpts, hopefully you have some spare time to do some ZBrushin’ (I’m not posting much right now, because -for once-I would like to finish the stuff I’m working on before posting… :rolleyes: )

Regarding my stuff – Im working on the alien. I retopologized the mesh. Now I need a pose .. and some cool accesoirs. Other than that Im going to enter a new contest on cghub. On Tuesday I have already built the base mesh with Zspheres and Zsketch… and started to retopologize it then (not done yet). I dont think its a problem to sculpt on the Zsketch model/Unified skin mesh, but I need to practise the topo stuff and for that reason I use every opportunity to do so.
Other than that Im working on my hp. Its looking good so far (still needs more work) but I have no idea how to upload it to the server. :evil: Well… I know how it works… and normally it should work… but… you know… the good old PC devil. 
I also need to figure out how to integrate a blog.

Ive entered a contest at CGHUB. Its called “Production Challenge”. You can read more about it HERE
The concept is pre-determined.
Usually I prefer modeling my own stuff, but the concept by Adrien Smith is awesome and I like the idea behind this contest.
All the participants have to model the same and I think that`s very interesting and very challenging.[color=LemonChiffon]
I`ve built the basemesh with Zspheres/Zsketch and then I retopologized the mesh.

Great Moni: cool to see how you keep the subd’s low whilst blocking in the main shape/gesture. The anatomy reads very well and there’s already some weight in there too .
Thanks a lot, Yong! I always try to keep the subdiv levels low as long as possible. It`s a Moni-friendly method (keeps my PC devil away, hehe
