With so much of media hype about the book and the film I was wondering whether anyone from the ZBrush community would attempt to model Monalisa and post it in the forum .
I was therefore pleasantly surprised to see your excellent attempt. The famous enigmatic smile is all there true to the original. My only suggestion is that the look in the eyes could be softened a bit . A highly commendable effort.

A great introduction to your work Mr Da Vinci.
Top row material, i want to see her moving, that will be amazing
to me it looks like a photoshop rework. I donât believe that it was actually modeled. I pulled the head off the image at the beginning of the thread and matched it exactly with this photo taken of the mona Lisa. A perfect match. Now if you managed to pull that one off great work awesome, if not WTFâŠ
oops heres the pictureâŠ
drummer, had the idea long time ago, was afraid someone had the same idea inspired by the movie, lucky to get it done before the release =].

Cool man ! I guess you are new digital Dan Vinci himself
great job love to see your work flow
Please post different angles of the final render, ie, profile view, oblique view, low and high angles, so we can see how Leonardo saw his subject when he painted her.
mansa wish i was
Lamez did my part and went there
vicart2001 maybe next project i ll do a timelapse.
Sil 369 its possible but it ll be some very undone shots without the all the comp, and i am not really willing to take hours rendering such shots
When I first opened this thread I thought I was looking at the reference. Congratulations on the top row.
You certainly captured the mona lisa great likeness!
I like much the hands and the expression, is it 3D, compositing? Youâre a master!
youâve got to go further.
I hope I dont offend anyone but this actually looks better than the original lol. I have to say that while its the most infamous portrait in the world, itâs still a whole lot of creepy to me, I think a few people here can agree lol.
ooh
i was just watching history channel and it turns out mona lisa had a bun in her hair when painted⊠it wore down over the ages, but it was there
just letting you know ^_^â

designed well .
Do you have any rernderings from different angles?
You could do something like this, or better using an actual 3d model:
