The progression of details is great.

:+1: :+1: :+1:

very nice update…

yeap… very nice update…

The wings to me need little bit of love …

good job…

Thao

his wings are shaped kinda like butterfly wings… and they look great by themselves, but I think they conflict with this character’s personality

That is freaking awesome. Top Row in my opinion!! Lordy. I loved following this from simple low polly from your modeling program to the final on the last page. I’d LOVE to see a full on large render of this one, posed if possible. He’s really something else. The attention to detail not only on the body and face but the armor as well. The wings are just fabulous too!!

BRAVO!!! :+1:

piz-thanks!!

mustan9-thank you!!

ThaoLe- i will work in another wing `s version ,thanks!!

Bravo,fantastic work.:+1: :+1: :+1:
like to see more.

Cheers
Roland

yeahhhhhh—those wings are much better man. more demonic. not sure why but the others seemed a little soft.

The changes look nice but the original wings I prefer as they are not typical. One of the reasons I like this model is the face and the wings were very different!!! Still, stunning work!!

Great work, alex. Lookin forward for more an update…

Dan

would you preffer it to be flying or not able to fly?

then you should calculate wings acordingly, for intance maybe the first design of wings werent very believable to be an animatable flyout, new wings, well, they are just a hint of what will become, just take in account the size of dragon wings proportional to the body, as a dragon is the closest thing i can picture to compare here

you can also try to picture in real warfare (this guy is not dressed for a rock concert rigth?) how this guy will try to protect his wings but keep em light and with full use of his dexterity (if he actually flyes offcourse)

i also began picturing a bow in his hand, just came to me after trying to picture a war between hell and heaven, so… with everyone flying around i suppose a bow may be a better weapon… they can also be mages… and… well hell i better shut up

holy devil!!! Someday I will be as good as u sigh** I just bought zbrush and i dont know anything abt it, im used to using 3dsmax, wanna give me any good advice, perhaps useful free tutorial links and anything to motivate me( im already motivate seeing all these devils hihi )

Congrats on buying on of the industries best software packages! There is a new traning DVD out that you might want to get.

http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/dvds/mme04.html

I’m going to order it today. It’s good for people like us who don’t know much about ZBrush. Not bad for $50 bucks.

But, everything on the DVD can be found in the ZBrush Wiki, and tutorials that come with it.

Yea, I got that. 2 disk set, nicely packaged and arrived promptly!! Can’t wait to find the time to watch and practice a bit more!!! Never enough time it seems!!

Amazing detailing. How many hours put in to this model so far?

Absolutely amazing work! :+1:

If I may ask, what are you doing to approximate or perhaps even exactely match perspective in ZB with the persp cam in XSI? I am having my share of problems getting my models to look just like they do in XSI.

Very very impressive. Excellent extraction techniques. :+1:
