cool man,
love those characters, the expressions are great.
those are fantastic! Totally top row
These are just so good, I have to ask if you could post some of your workflow. Did you plan the faces like that from the start, or is this really great rigging and posing.
If these “Brats” are rigged to be animated like this, that would be spectacular. Whatever you can share about your process would be great for everyone to study.
Great modeling, very expressive characters!
Should be in top row, for sure.
Got my 5 stars!
so much expression in your characters. they are perfect. you’ll get your 5 * for that for sure. congrats. imo, definitly top row.
first, i want to thank you all for your comments, it really helps to get such wonderful feedback!
usually i don’t have a specific idea about what i want to do, i just start to doodle, and let the character develop itself. i start with a very basic mesh, searching for a face that i like. at this point I’m starting to see what the character is like and try to imagine a facial expression for him. its the easiest for me to make a lot of moving and tweaking on a mid-high resolution level. at this point i like to work asymmetrical, to get a better result. also, looking in the mirror for reference, and making a complete fool of myself in front of my friends helps a lot too. a lot of times the facial expression can be articulated with twisting the torso, and the shoulders. well, that’s about all i can say, also i made a few quick wip shots, really nothing fancy, but i might record the process of my next one.
Wonderful! 5stars )
Great sculpts!! 5**!
