Midnight Snack

well it’s Monday night 2228 hours here and I have just come in from working in the yard all day…(the fish pond is all but finished an lit…and I am red as a boiled lobster…will have pics of the pond up when I get the film developed…) Anyhoo…thank you all so very much for the overwhelming comments and compliments and suggestions…I will try the white background idea on a future project…alot of the time and maybe someone can answer this, but when I try a background there is like thick and black edges around the image…and show up badly when I put the background layer on…this is esp true when I have used the fiber brush…is that part of the antialiasing…I am still learning and I know it’s something probably simple…Now with this image of the alien egg…I drew a rough draft on paper and pretty much reproduced the drawing which had no background per say either…that is one of the reasons also for just the black…and it was once askedif you really know that moment when an image pops out for ya…well the skin and light on those fingers did it for me…and I had felt that anymore in the image would have taken awaken from it…though I did consider putting several more eggs in the background giving it somemore depth kinda…but with all that aside…thank you all so very much…after a hard day this was nice to see… :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

EDIT…I was working on this last night over screwdrivers…I call it I will drink if I want to… but I guess I shouldn’t drink and Z…muhahhahaha…but I put a background to this after the above suggestions…thnx guys

I see you made nice use of my fingers in the alien egg picture Ron. Very creepy and eerie. I would have to agree with the background thing. Only absolute darkness is really “black”. Often times what we perceive in real life as “black” is nothing more than a darker tone of another color and not truly black at all. I like the background you used on the last image and those eyes on the ends of the finger are really creeeeeepy! Think of it this way…use the background to hint at depth of field and to allow the eye to follow through the canvas. The viewer comes away with a much greater experience. It may seem negligable but it can really make a difference. Your skills have improved dramatically just with these last pieces. I look forward to seeing more! Excellsior!!

Nice work on the second image also Ron.

just think what the whole pot of coffee would do to you…lol… me likes the images ron.very creative expression…

Nice image Ron!!

There’s some real freaky stuff coming out of your head at the moment Ron, keep it coming. :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

wow Ron, I’ve missed alot here! Great modeling with all of them… very creepy and gruesome; just the right touch! Just don’t touch me with those eyeballs… LOL

All three have their appeal, Ron. Each is well crafted. Your skills continue to grow; it’s been great watching that happen for you.

I have to “hand” it to you Ron!

Is there such a thing as a ZUI?

(zbrushing under the influence) :stuck_out_tongue:

Coolio as always! :+1:
