Both are really good, like the female your doing at the moment very high detail compared to what i can do… Could you do a tutorial on how you made the jacket? Don’t have to but i really don’t understand how to make it with such detail, as you can see I’m newish. A name could be ‘Tiaamii’ just saw it on a random website lol :):+1:

i started hard surfacing a desert eagle…been a while since ive done any sort of high poly modeling in maya so its taking some time…hopefully have something up in a few days!

Just out of curiosity, how are you hard sculpting? I can’t find any decent tutorials :confused:

gun WIP

quick update…finished my gun hipoly. no zbrush :o did it in maya. its not very cleanly modeled since i suck at hard surface modeling in maya. it should be good enough for what i want which is to bake the normal map for a lo poly version for my female character. here are some quick maya software renders. up next, the gun holster for her belt!

small update guys. finished the holster with the gun and did some minor tweaks on her lips and her hands. i have the basemesh ready to go for the fingerless gloves so that will be next!

finally! high poly mesh is done. did the fingerless gloves, added some fingernails(though they are uber basic), added some body bling, and just did some general tweaks here and there. up next, retopo!

Wow, that girl is awesome! I especially like her boots and jacket! I can’t wait to see her finished.
Oh and if you still haven’t found a name for her, I would suggest Jade or maybe Ashley.

And I must say that your cyborg ninja is really well done! For your first legit character it is really great! I am a big fan of the Metal Gear Serie:D
(On a side note: I tought Grey Fox was only in MGS1, and not in MGS2 as it is written on your picture.)

rastaman: thanks man, and yea i should add more details to break up the smoothness but since she is going to be a game character, i think i will simply add those details in texture and possibly add them to the normal map during the texturing phase.

mightyreg: thanks bro. i havent decided 100% on a name yet but Jade is sounding kinda good…i will have to add that to my list of possibilities, thanks for the suggestion! as for grey fox, u are correct, grey fox dies in metal gear solid but ninja is in sons of liberty so i just generalized!

Ok, it’s been forever! Finally finally got the low poly normal mapped. I need to do the AO next and start the texturing. I have decided to name her Faith.
