I made this as fan art to Wonder Woman and Playboy Covers.
This first image is a step process of some of the in between versions.
Photoshop was used to color balance, and bring out the hair, but lighting, skin, etc, was really a lot of zbrush passes.
This was the first attempt, and it was too photoshoppy and ended up not the way I wanted to go. So the previous image was the rework.
Attempt 2 came out much better, and it was due to me stepping back and taking a second look, and getting different set of eyes to take a look at it as well from friends.

Wow! First an invisible plane, now an invisible costume! Wonder Woman is quite the exhibitionist! I particularly like the way you posed her with the sword and shield. Very nice. 
Great work. The treatment on the Playboy WW is beautiful. Nice painterly feel. I do feel that she looks a bit sinister and slightly overwhelmed by her hair - hope you don’t mind me saying. The clothed version looks fantastic as well. I would love to see you do a render pass on her.

I’d have to agree with the sinister tone as well. Something to do with the eyes, brow and the cheeks. Her smile does not touch her eyes and with that brow line it makes her expression threatening, not inviting. Great work otherwise though. Love cheesecake and campy humor.
Jake Rupert: Yeah thanks, the story just revolved around things that were swirling in my head at that time. It really is as the title implies, a fan art to both Wonder Woman and Playboy covers. It started with me really wanting to do a pinup of wonder woman. Then it sorta rolled into the Playboy covers, because I always love the colors and composition in those. It was also a neat way to compliment her skin tone, and focus her as the center of the piece by drawing her out with colors. The covers do really well with that, so I figured why not.

Poda: The pose and facial expression is attributed more to one of my favorite pin ups Bettie Page. She had all sorts of faces, from happy, serious, to even sinister, sultry expressions. I went with those better due to personal preference, but thank you on the comments! Also I do want to put a step by step process, but if I have the time I’ll do it. It’s really multiple passes out of zbrush. From lighting, different shaders for different effects, and basic passes like alphas, AO, flat skin color, etc. Then a lot of color balancing and tweaking of layers till the right stuff comes out, and I’m satisfied.
