Bicc - You are right. I’m going to order some dvd’s today. In fact I just set up a second monitor for that. It’s a personal flaw that I get frustrated when I can’t figure something on my own without instruction.

But seriously, the reason Im trying to learn a higher end ap is to get a job. Im graduating from college with a degree in Industrial Design in December and I want to get into something involving 3D modeling. Ive been eyeing up a position at McFarlane Toys and a couple of other product design companies, but they want people who are knowledgeable in stuff like Maya and Max. Unfortunately my schools program sucks in the 3D modeling department, and Im limited to programs like AutoCAD and Rhino. So what Im trying to do is put myself ahead of my classmates in the job market. At least if I know some of the basics of the programs maybe I can get my foot in the door and learn some more stuff on the job.
Billboard design might be the way to go?
Probably church billboard design, since Jesus loves me so much.
