Hello, he is looking very nice !!, the pants holes are cool, good work mate!
Looks great man. Only thing that looks weird to me is the lower leg (between the knee and the foot). Is that in your reference? It jumps out as feeling a bit odd.
The sculpt looks a bit lumpy even for the hulk. Maybe you wanted a cartoonish effect, but it seems to me that your somewhere in-between.
Jorge Lescale: Hey Jorge! nice you like it, cheers!
tobbeo: I got some references by McGuiness and Keown, but it seems I need fix it, thanks for the feedback!
Sleet: I wanted exaggerate his muscles a bit, so I tried to make it he looks more beefy, thanks!
Here’s the head in detail. Still wip;)

Lovely detail! Nice work man!
Hey man! nice to see you here, thanks!
Here’s a quick update of the angry guy:mad:

Nice work! My 2 cents on your Rulk:
-
forearms are too long
-
hands and feet are a little too big, proportionally, even for the Hulk
-
Not really digging the shape of the mouth. I’ve seen the image you’re referencing for that mouth shape and I think it’s a bad reference. I’d just find the best images of the Green Hulk I could then just make him red.
-
The hair looks like it’s standing straight up, which is throwing me off.
-
At some point when you’re wrapping this up, it would be rad if you could somehow incorporate how hot he is. From Wikipedia:
Although possessing all the abilities of the original Hulk, the Red Hulk does not grow stronger with anger, but rather radiates increasing levels of heat.
- He looks more like orange hulk than red hulk. I think there’s a Hellboy matcap floating around that might work for this.
hey.as i read the last comment i have to totally agree with dustin. so here is a link to one of the greatest free matcap packs on the internet. sathe did a great job on it http://forums.3dtotal.com/showthread.php?t=59477&highlight=matcap maybe you wanna try one of those. overall good work.
Great updates!
dustinbrown: Thanks a lot for taking the time to share your thoughts. I agree with most of these points and I’ll work to deal with them. I understand your point about the hands and feet size, but that was done intentionally trying to emphasize these areas. Great feedback!
Al.Tintop: Great stuff man! Thanks for share this!
Nattawat_OBBI: Thanks mate!
Here’s the final sculpt …and a color test

This is awesome! All around great work. Did you make a base model and then sculpt? or was it sculpted then retopo’d?
I see you painted in some shadows in the cavities. Did you only use normal maps without displacement?
Sorry for all the questions I am just curious to know your process. Wonderful work.
hey man !
Excellent Red Hulk!
It looks better than lots of green hulks
Cheers
