it turned out stunningly beautiful, great job! I admire how you did hte hair the most
Do you know the ‘Mazur is going to Hawaii-foundation’? SEND THE MONEY!!
BTW, I also take the buttheadman with me, so he cannot see anything!
I think this image is evocative rather than titilating. It’s the difference between “nude” and “naked”, if that makes any sense. One’s relaxed, and expresses a beauty found only in nature. (You might look at this as glorifying god’s creation, in as much as imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.) The other’s pretty much opposite – it captures or synthesizes a moment of pure manipulation.
The fact that you question the artist’s motivation should tell you it’s in that first category. The other one would have left no room for interpretation.
I’ll actually take this a step further and say this one’s more artistic than any image where the story is easily gleaned.
Is there a story here? Of course. But it’s up to us to decide the details. Myself, I say this woman came to a tropical island on business, but saw how much more relaxed than her everyone was, and decided to abandon her old way of life. In this moment, she is literally walking away from it, confronting her fears and coming to terms with herself.
Is my interpretation true to what the artist was thinking? Probably not. The art has a life of it’s own, you see.
We each interact with it differently, as it engages us. That’s the point.
Hmmm… I’m not sure with you guys who say that this image is about “beauty” and not nudity (nothing being wrong with either of course). This image is so overtly about her breast that it isn’t funny… Look at the original reference photo… you can see that the area of interest is about the line / silhouette of the neck and head and not the breasts (that aren’t even in the picture!). If you can create an image like this (nude) and make the central point something other than a breasts…or other obvious areas… then that’s more of a challenge and might be a step toward evoking the “artistic”. That being said… it doesn’t take away from the fact this is a great model… and fine display of craftsmanship.

skipstah70, what you see is only a crop of the original photo…
On the full photo you can see the breast of the girl how I did it…
The interest of this picture is just not only the breast, and actually your the first who seems to focus on it. And finally… Why not?
Hey skipstah70. After my initial glance at the image, which took less than half a second I guess, I found myself looking at the detail in the face, hair, ears and flowers for a LONG time. It was then that I DECIDED to move down to the breasts for a goosey. All your post says to me is that you’ve got loose eyeballs and/or YOU think the image is all about the breasts.
I don’t I’m afraid, but I can see where you’re coming from.
PEACE.
I don’t believe anyone’s saying the nudity isn’t significant. We’re saying that if you were to draw a line between “art” and “pornography”, you’d find the human form to be a popular theme on both sides of the line. What seperates the two is what we’re describing.
Really, it’s fine that you can’t see the distinction – just accept on faith that there is one, 'cause those of us saying we can see it… can.
Hey Craig… the reason you looked at the head and eyes first… is because we’re biologically programmed to seek out faces and features in others… especially the eyes. Unfortunately that doesn’t qualify the focal point of this image as such. A few things that make the breast the real focal point are… 1. the downward angle of head and downcast eyes specifically which point the viewer to the breasts (doesn’t happen in the ref photo). 2. breast area is the highest contrast in the imageplane (contrast between background and ribcage just under the breasts). 3. the protruding arch of the back and exaggerated largeness of rib cage and breasts… also extra image room below them gives them more importance.
I don’t think anyone thinks that there is anything wrong with the nudity… but the question as someone put it before was whether it was gratuitous. i.e. is this image as strong or stronger without “them” in the picture (personally yes). What does their inclusion say? is she “reflecting” about her breasts etc… These are artistic questions… The model is still great whatever way you slice it.

nice job!

claps Really Great Work!
Keep posting Your Work its Awsom to see your workflow!
Graig Ward:
Many artist see the female and male body as an Artform… It also is the first thing what many people want to create after they have become a bit better in modeling in any packedge.
Reason why is simply because we interact with the humanspecies EVERYDAY.
And yes thats the first thing what came in my mind when i opened a 3d/2d modeling program and start learning the basics for the first time. Creating humans is what drawned me into 3d/2d in the first place…
And NO…this does not have anything to do with you as the artist being a pervert Craig Ward…
Besides, personaly i believe you can create whatever you want in 2d or 3d…there are no rules or boundries there.
Its your own fantasie.
Just that you have to know that with great power comes great responsibility. Dont show art in certain places where people will be offended or will misunderstand your art.
(Nudity or no Nudity…doesnt really matter for a true artist because he/she only sees it as a Artform from his/her own fantasie…and besides we are born naked so what is the big deal anyways?..its because we started to wear cloths and stuff like that waaay back cause of Eva’s Apple what made certain people act weired to see other peoples bodyparts…what is the real reason why people start wearing clothes btw, even though it is those bodyparts what makes us really human doesnt it?..In other words a breasth should be looked at as just a normal thing if you think about it)
What i am really saying is:
We finaly are now capable to create realistic humans in 3d software…if you think about it…thats just to good to be true…to create and animate LIVE in a program. And thats how many people think aswel i believe.
And besides creating humans, make ALOT of other things what you have dreamed of in fantasie finaly come true in reallife.
Only thing left to do now is to create 3d/2d art with holograms so we can make an entire new world what really exist in rl.
Fabulous, especially when it was done!
ZB2 has exceeded the 'verse and we have all learned much since.
Simply making pores everywhere is no longer enough— we must know where and how much all skin textures receive.
And where to get more RAM!
What an ugly figure, the breasts are a bad job.
Without question, you have been really put in the time and effort. After looking over the model closely, there are two details you may wish to reconsider tweaking.
- At the base of her breast, there seems to be a small indentation. I don’t know if you put that there intentionally, but it doesn’t look very natural.
- Her skin pours are much too big. If her skin was orange, you may want to peel her… try reapplying the skin texture with smaller pours.
Apart from that, great work…
Derek
great work dude … you’re really did nice job
wow!!! very good . How are you to do it ?
Of course the name Sebcesoir speaks for itself. I admire your work.
Funny thing though, despite the fact that your work is superb, I noticed the amount of hits your post received. Then I read the title and saw the word “nudity”. Then I looked at other threads that contained the same word. My conclusion: Threads with the word nudity in the title seem to get more hits. Coincidence? Hmmm…how many male members on zbrush?
Maybe I should throw it into the title of some of my work (without nudity) and see if my theory proves true. No, I’m not jealous because you get all the hits. Well, thats a lie. I’m extremely jealous but thats because you have great natural talent and I wish my work was up there with yours. Okay, so I wont try it but I’m still sure that word accounts for all the hits other artists get.
Good job
This is beautiful. :o
whoa looks awesome!!!
