Really cool. The heads in the concepts look cooler than the model turned out, honestly. It’s really impressive overall, I’m just not in love with the shape of his head.
nero5150: thanks for the comment: ] yea, when doing alien things i tend to do things too much. Maybe what would help is why the head shape doesn’t work or a draw over. i would love to see what I can do to maybe make it more appealing.
OH! and on the first page i made some leg adjustments. i just replaced the original pic of the turnaround.

haha yea, My guyver soon to be will be the same thing but maybe with a mask on and no teeth. Guyver and the organic mask riders are sorta the same, guyver just doesnt have teeth. man ima nerd : [
So I have been giving this much though, and I dont think I will doing armor for this guy, instead i will texture him and pose him, then move on to another project i had in mind. Samus. Any suggestions as to simple rigs to pose from. Is max biped easy to handle? I dont feel I have much contorl with transpose master, although i guess i can use that.

The shape of the top shell is a bit different in your model. In the concept the boundary edge(red arrow) flows near the middle of his head. In the model that ridge(blue arrow) flows up along closer to the top of his head.

dmxdxl: oh yes, i plan on doing some retopo to be able to get a couple more subd lvls. right now thats alli can push, thanks for the CRIT and I will be updating it with textures and whatnot. shaders i might have to learn.
hunterk: yes i can. I basically took a baseman topo and elongated the head and made a mouth hole for it and went crazy really. it’s 99% zbrush.
Honestly it has enough detail already. I wouldn’t over do it. Texture,pose render, and move on. You have done an amazing job here and I know you will create other great works!

While I’m trying to find time on working on this guy, I’d like to know how to people get casts made from a 3d print, The 3d print isn’t a problem, it’s hwo to make more after. I am suuper new at this and if anyone has any info or know forums to get toys made such as garage kits and vinyl toys I would love to hear it. Thanks for your time.
You need to find a local caster. Resin is the way to go because vinyl is a huge production. some resources for you:

So I haven;t been able to do anything art wise in a looong time. This is what I did over the weekend. I would like to turn this into a toy. Next step is polish up the painting and then modeling the base. As well as modinging my decapitated head that he will be holding. The base should be done this week. PLEASE C&C!!!
