Nice work Marc Iā€™ve really been enjoying your sculpts. Canā€™t wait for Z3. Seems like every beta tester is doing kick ass work. Is it really that easy to model now?

ohhā€¦ BTW the ant would win if the alien and ant were similar in size. Canā€™t an ant lift around 100x their body weight?

btw leo.org helps a lot, or just listen to english podcasts, read much english articles ect. ect. :slight_smile: (i do that, because i sucked at english(didnā€™t interest me enough at that age) in scool, back 11 years ago. g)

Saw Alien 2 again last night. Still a very atmospheric film. That last black and white image has exactly the same style. Just seeing enough glint to make you worried. :+1:

Is it really that easy to model now?

Well, yesā€¦It pretty much is! It doesnā€™t make a complete non-artist into a Rembrandt, but Z3 is so transparent it will translate the artistic ability you have into digital 3D sculpture. IE: The best qualification for success with Z3 is the eye of an artist rather than the training and long hours of a software programmer. If you can already sculpt in clay/bronze/stone etc, you will be producing models in Z3 in minutes.

I feel qualified to say this as my first something-like-finished digital 3D model was in Z3. I was extremely lucky to have been asked to join the beta as a professional 2D artist wanting to try digital modelling as the guys at Pixo rightly saw the popularity this incredible app will enjoy among traditional or 2D digital artists. As I was both I got to participate in this incredible experience - one of the highlights of my artistic life. (Iā€™ll post some stuff, but not in Marcā€™s thread). Being able to log in and watch some of the worldā€™s best at work each day was incredibly inspiring. To watch guys like Marc here develop unbelievable pieces, and have them ready to help & advise me with my own was incredible and I will be eternally grateful to Ryan & Jaime as well as the awe-inspiring team of artists they assembled for this project.

Unlike everybody else I was hoping the 15th would never come, but it has, and I wish I could see the looks on all your faces when you see what this little baby will do! You will FREAK! It is a huge leap, and will, I believe, change the face of digital art forever - and for the better!

Strong words slashpot, I hope I do freak. Its sounds very much that there are some nice unknown suprices in store for us. My jaw droped when I saw the video, again when I saw what the beta testers had done, can it happen the 3rd time? :smiley:
