Stunning work!!
Keep rocking, best regards,
Selwy
Very nice sculpts you have going there!
Can I ask what type of clay you are using ? Plastalene (?)
Are you making silicone molds, or are these master studies ?
thanks
Very nice art! I admire how you can do real sculpts and CG.
Last ones are real sculpts. Keep it this way. Beautiful. You don’t need monsters any more. They live among us actually. We are the monsters.
great choice man!!
5 stars by all!!
thanks by the movie!! hehe
downloading…

ivar - thanks
roger - thanks
sandpiper - hey mate, thanks bro
selwy - hey mate, thank you a lot
etcha - for sure man! - I’m using oil-based-clay, some people call them plastelene around the world too…Actually I’m using Chavant NSP medium and DimClay, a Great Brazilian oil-clay. Those are master studies, but I’m doing some mold and castings too. Molds in silicon and casts in resin. Thanks man.
aberrant - thank you a lot
michalis - hahahah that’s real. we are the monsters. thanks.
lesoares - thank you a lot man.
well, I’m finishing a superman/alex ross bust 1/1 in clay.
I’ll be posting here soon with more zbrush stuff.
thanks folks!
Hello folks…
This is my last life size sculpture, a superman based on the great drawings of Alex Ross.
I took almost 4 days of work on this piece, working at night.
This is a brazilian water clay.
I hope you enjoy it.

Awesome work buddy! The last one is great man keep rockin
Nice one! He has a very classic look. You should buy some horn-rimed glasses for him.
Again, a very nice sculpt Glauco ! (Thank you for your previous reply and for letting us know about this being water based clay in your latest work!)
May I ask what your armature is for the life-sized busts ?
I like the “raw” state of your sculpts ! (unrefined state)
I look forward to seeing some sculpts that are fine detailed from you one day. (Though I’ve yet to find a clay medium that holds detail that is still easilly workable… (maybe you have a suggestion)
I find Zbrush to be a magnificent tool for visualizing before/during and after sculpting. Especially when my hands begin to feel sore from pushing and pulling on clay pieces through the day. (I wonder if your mouse and keyboard looks as filthy as mine with dried and dusty clay!)
Again,… Great work! Thanks for sharing!
And also, your website is looking nice with the changes. (Though I felt that the single image on the main page of the one bust looked more professional… but that is just my opinion)
Greg-thank you a lot mate!
dustin-hahahah thank you
etcha-sketch - thank you a lot…well, this superman there’s not armature…it’s like 40 pounds of clay and that’s it…
About the medium clay, I recomend Chavant NPS medium…you can detail a lot with pacience and its very good to block and so on.
Thank you man, I really love zbrush also…it’s great to have fun, work and study.
I’ve changed my website again, this time for “real” I hope so.
Check it out man!
Hey guys…
Some sketchs that I did this days, studying the face…
I spent like 30, 40 minutes in each one, just blocking the overall volumes.
More info at my website!
Check it out folks!

Love the expression sculpts…really capture the mood of each expression well.
Great sculpts Longhi (both ZBrush and real clay sculpts)!

Great job man! You’ve been cranking sculpts out left and right! You must be on a huge creative flow these days. Congrats!

These are very nice works! How long does a head take you on average?
Dm3d - thank you
solidsnakexxx - thanks bro
etcher - thank you a lot man!
sandpiper - hey mate, thank you so much. Maybe I’m, I don’t know…hahah
Mawh - thank you
juanval - thank you so much
aberrant - thank you man…It really depends…those were speed sculpts, about 30, 40 minutes each one. But when I’m working on a likeness or a definied shape, I can take days…
Thanks folks, I’ll be posting more studies soon!
