"Load a TPoseMesh from disk..."

Problem: Transpose Master will not pose my higher poly model, instead I receive the error; “Load a TPoseMesh from disk…” after clicking “TPose > SubT

In my hobbit-like quest to search on the nets for a logical solution, I’ve only managed to deduct the problem possibly being that I saved my progress as a tool and it has somehow unlinked it’s zsphere-bound-mesh-data from my higher poly model. I am using the Transpose Master tool that came with my copy of zbrush(4R5). I did not have “Grps” or “Layer” buttons activated when I posed my mesh, I don’t know if that is part of the problem. I do have multiple subtools. How can I link the data back together so that Transpose Master is honkey dorey enough to recognize my higher poly mesh and pose it? Is there a work-around?

I am roughly two weeks new to zbrush(3ds max modeler for years), enjoying it muchly- forgive my newness.

What options did you use with Transpose Master? Did you have the ZSphere Rig option on? You need to do so if you want to use ZSphere rigging otherwise Transpose Master will no be able to recognise the mesh and transfer the pose.

Initially the “ZSphere Rig” button was pressed along with “TPoseMesh” button when I began. I saved my progress using the Tool palette (“Save As” button). After re-loading my tool, the “ZSphere Rig” button was no longer activated. When I do activate “ZSphere Rig”, and press “TPose > SubT” button, I get: “Please select a TPose Mesh”.

I’m having the same issues. Zsphere rig has been highlighted. I created my rig, posed my model (which I had issues with before and posted a question about a few days ago). And I’m hitting the Tpose>SubT button and it’s telling me to load a Tpose mesh from the disk instead of transferring what I’ve done to my higher poly model.

I’m not entirely sure what you’ve done but somehow Transpose Master’s record of your model has got confused. If you want to use the ZSphere Rig you need to have it turned on at the beginning, it won’t work turning it on later. Also, use the Save TM Prj button to save the whole project for Transpose Master - if you load ZTLs or save the ZBrush project separately the Transpose Master data will be lost.

SAD FACE! Issue resolved. I thank you kindly marcus_civis.
