Hey Santis,
thanks for the positive words.
Another creature bust.
Any feedback or ideas would be really welcome.
Going to polypaint this sucker, will show that when I’m done.
Cheers.
Love the detail.
Thanks Nassosa
Digging the anatomy and forms of your latest sculpt.
Bit of a polypaint and post work on this sculpt.
Interested in any thoughts or feedback you have on my work.
Cheers.
Beautiful! Might benefit from a spec pass and some proper lighting/shadows to really bring him to life?.. but he/she/it looks great none the less
Hey RawSunlight
Thanks so much.
That’s great feedback.
Your work is really awesome too, been following your stuff for a while.
Cheers
Updated the render a touch after RawSunlight’s feedback.
Quick speed sculpt for tonight’s practice session.
Look who’s talking, nice anatomy skills
Thanks mate
Hey there.
Here is an anatomy study I have tried to do.
I am kind of stuck. I dont really know how to take it further. I have done the primary forms, and some secondary, but I am really at a loss as how to develop my sculpting of full bodies further. I just get stumped every time at this kind of point of sculpting a full body. When I do busts/heads I dont seem to have this problem.
I know this sounds strange but I would be so grateful if a pair of fresh eyes could shed some light on this issue in my sculpting.
Please critique the work.
Muchos gracias.

You’re stumped because the sculpt and its smoothnes have become too precious to you.
If you’re happy with the proportions, make a layer and a morph target.
Grab a standard or form brush, low intensity, and put in some striations, dents, muscle bumps, fat polsters, big folds (knees, elbows), nipples, irregularities of the flesh.
Be fearless, you need to break up the surface, get rid of that cg smoothness and hint at whats beneath the skin .
You can always morph things back if necessary.
After that some skinfolds with DamStd, some detailing. Done.
Almost there.
Awesome. Thanks so much.
I appreciate your advice so much.
I’ll post my progress.
Thanks again
Always liked your stuff And I really know the frustration of not moving forward.
Ryan calls it “The valley of the suck”. Going through my own right now, but it always ends, soon.
Thanks Matt
Haha. I feel like I have been stuck in ‘the valley of the suck’ for my full body sculpts for a while now, but I tried your method and its definitely moved my stuff forward.
Will post soon when I have done some more work.
Thanks again.
