Thanks again guys for the comments, sorry I couldnāt thank everyone by name, but got a bit busy again lately. As Stated before I learned a lot from the Z central and especially from people who share their process therefore I thought I share some more.
This is just a short one because I got exhausted in the wonderful London traffic.
I love to download and use metcapās from the z central, but when it comes to lighting metcapās are tricky because of the backed in light information ā¦ā¦this can be rotated but still wont be like a basic material, and since I had to use a couple of them they needed to machā¦ā¦so what I come up whit was that if you use a white basic material as base for your comp and blend the metcapās whit it the result will have the best of both worlds. Obviously I donāt want psychically correct results ā¦I just want to achieve something that looks pleasing for the eyeā¦.if I wanted to be perfect I would use mental ray and wait for hoursā¦.
In the video on the first page you can see that in the comp every material starts whit this white material render.
About the scratch and dirt setup I will write next time.
