Very nice work!
I especially love the Satyr you´ve made.
The horns and the details are great.
I´m looking forward to see your new model finished.
One thing you maybe should look at are her arms… looks like her forearms are a little bit too long?
That´s just my opinon. And I know how hard it is to model a women .
Other than that it looks like a ery great start.
I’d hit it…
Seriously, she looks fine to me… She’s probably more realistic than idealistic.
I would say it’s her face and bald head that’s making her look a little manly, and not her body. But then not all women have a pretty face and so I quite like her slightly average facial features.
If she was real I bet she’d “love” other girls
Wow, nice female model. Looking very realistic.
Cool start on the female. I would say it’s the face that makes her look ‘manly’. Certainly not the body
Nice sculpt! I’d have to agree with Moni on the arms: they look ok in the side view, but in the front view the upper arm looks a bit short (maybe the insertion of the biceps should be a bit lower ?) also, in front view the arms look thin, even for a realistic sculpt. Keep goin’! !
Moni-Poroni:thanks man.yeah you were right about the arms,i’ll change that.
splodge:thanks.
SolidSnakexxx:thanks.
Captain Sensible:thanks…
Etcher:thanks.yes, you are right i’ll work on it.also the orientation of the biceps is bit off i think.thanks for your comments.
also want to ask, which matcap is best for sculpting, because each matcap shows things differently.
a little update.mostly on the arms and the face…
c&c are welcome…
cheers!!!
Update looks great, arms are coming along much better now! Concerning the best material to sculpt: I switch a lot between materials when I sculpt cause I find that each materials highlights a different problem area that needs to be corrected.
Lookin’ forward to the next update! See ya! !
Wonderful sketchbook. Love the Ram man character, and also the last female sculpt
kaarthikeyan update looks great Looking forward to the next update
Oo I like the attitude on this guy, the beard and the furrowed brow really give him a mythological look like a Greek hero or demigod.
I heart the goat dude
Etcher:thanks for the tip…
vikramvr:thanks…
Karthik.AL:thanks…
Tristikov:thanks…
JakeLV426:thanks…
here’s a little update on the face of the female figure sculpt…
c&c are welcome…
I think the update is very good! In front view, her neck looks a bit long (again, could be personal taste).
Etcher:Thanks man…i agree with that…
little update, worked the whole body and proportions…
c&c are welcome…
Hi kaarthikeyan! Again, a great update. Every update is spot on: it’s cool now to compare the previous pics you posted, you can see a nice evolution. Might wanna take a look at the size of her hands (Etcher = always nagging ). Keep goin’ man
!
Hey, looking pretty good. I’m in the process of doing a female full body study myself so I can relate…
I’ve got some crits. Given that I’m still in the process of learning this as well, and then factor in the variety of actual possible shapes and proportions, along with personal taste, and I’d say I’m just offering food for thought
-the pelvis seems like it could be a little wider
- hands and feet seem a little large
- lower leg seems a little short, or maybe thigh a little long, or some combination of the two
- the outer, thumb side (radialis?) seems a litle long, or like it’s inserting a little far down
- perhaps the belly button is a little high…I think it should be closer to the level of the pelvis
- face could be a little more feminine…maybe soften up the nose detail
- maybe push or accentuate the lips size/ shape a bit. perhaps pull the upper lip out a bit more over the lower lip.
- neck is maybe a little long and tube like
- maybe slightly rounder/fuller cheeks/ jaw
- maybe raise or accentuate the outer brow/eyebrow height
So those are just some random thoughts, for what they’re worth.
Hope I don’t sound too nit picky, overall you are doing a very good job with getting everything in place and looking right. Keep it up
Gorgeous work, love the forms.
Etcher:thanks…you were right, also i made a mistake in the rotation of the Humorus.it can be noticeable in side view.i’ll work on it. thanks again…
fattkid:Wow,thanks for your detailed crits.i really appreciate that.thank u very much…
Porkpie Samurai:thanks…
A quick study for my next character.Garuda,a mythological character from indian mythology.
not having a clear concept in mind yet.this is a preliminary sketch, took about 1 1/2 hours.
i recorded a time lapse of it.
