Hey,
Hereโs another Monster Concept Study.
Similar Process Dynamesh Base sculpt. This time i used Qremesher to get a new retop and projected.
Then Decimated. Added a tongue and teeth so took a little longer than usual.
Thanks for checking it out!
John
Really great stuff, i like a lot the render style.
Thats last piece is insane good. Best of those 3 monster sculpts you did recently.
My problem would be with te final render, looks worse than the screen grab, ist too dark, hides a lot of forms, and i dont like fill lights that come from below the model ;/
Still great work on the sculpt, i love it.
Hey,
Thanks for the nice comments guys will work up some more final renders slocik
Theyโre just quick blasts from decimated mesh. Some fine details get lost, but the shots are mostly for drama. Iโm kinda developing the render look as i go see where it leads.
Below is another study based from an alien concept i found from FightPUNCH.
Amazing sculpting.
I really enjoy the ride!
Nice presentations renders too.
Cheers Michalis Iโm really enjoying just doing studies.
Hereโs another Alien/Monster Creature i did late last night. Halloween special for tonight
I recorded a little Process video too.
Thanks for checking my blog out peoples.

Hey all,
Here is a quick Speed sculpt of a Lizard style creature i did in my lunch yesterday.
Inspired from a sketch drawing from a concept artist called FightPunch. Used as a shape reference and all detailings done freestyle within Zbrush.
Dynamesh Workflow then decimated for final render in Maya with Mental Ray.
Cheers!

Really like the lizard, he has a really good distribution of detail on him. And your clay render setup is sweet!
Awesome sculpt . Thanks for the timelapse of your workflow too.
Cheers guys!
