She’s adorable, awesome render and model!
- Santis> Thank you :)
- Rory_L> Hehe, That's great :) Thanks.
- Intervain> Thanks Magdalena, I am glad you like it :D
- marianosteiner> Obrigado ;)
- polaroid29> Thank you. Actualy, you touched the right spot. The silhouette must be readable. You should be able to know who the character is and what he is doing just by seeing the silhouette in black. It is a great exercise. Also, I try to put myself in the position of the character, go in front of a mirror and observe the weight distribution of the body and understand its balance. Posing a character is a bit like acting :) I hope this helps!
- pappete> Thanks! ;)
nice
lazy noob> Thanks
Simply amazing . . . how was the chain on the rhino’s head done? Alpha brush?
Thanks, the chainmail was made using the new NoiseMaker in ZBrush4R2 with a chainmail alpha used as a texture
I have been developing some character figures with the concept of the talented Jake Parker for Industria Mechanika. These figures will be available during next year! I love how these are turning out!

I have just rendered a turntable of my granny character in Vray:

The Little Soldier. How did you handle making this character (model the base, then sculpted in zbrush)?
selahpoetic> I have started with ZSpheres to establish the body base and then sculpted it. Objects like the rifle were made in 3DSMax.
RAGHAVAN> Thanks!
Another Jake Parker concept that I have materialized into a 3D character for Industria Mechanika:

Love those last sculpts … that little guy has lots of attitude!
awesome! love it!
I really like this! It oozes character.
This image was created as the base for a website layout, which explains the weird composition.
It shows the X-Incubator. The X is the idea and the scientists around the table are the actual guys from the company who create this special ideas for their clients.
All the characters were sculpted in ZBrush.
