Here is a little fast rendeing test…
very nice
nice work! thats a way better pose. the face still seams a little bit flat to me.
very nice work on her clothing. man i know how hard it its to model a female! keep it up, gordon!
Hey Guys, well here is the new pose rendered… hope u like it :), all comments and feedback are welcome.
Nice work. Good job on the outfit modeling and texturing. I’d say the hand still needs some work, and she looks a bit cross eyed. Overall, pretty good. Keep it up!
fattkid:Hello dude, yeah i see what you mean about eyes, i did a couple of tweaks to them and did overwrite the upper image, hope now looks better, thanx
I like the new pose, though I agree about the hand needing some more work, I think with a big ole axe like that, her thumb should be wrapped tight around the handle. The way it is now I think it makes the axe look light. But good work.
DigitalDreamer: hello , thank you a lot for the feedback, u have a good eye! :), and thax for the words
Hello everyone, well this is what im working these days, i created a thread at cg society to invite everyone who wants to practice portraits, ill be creating one each week, the idea is that many artist make a portrait of the same person to compare and give feedback each other…hope u find some time to participate…all is about learning

well an other practice on portrait, this one is Jim Carrey on “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events” i focused on the face , the hair was hand painted all comments are welcome as always
absolutely brilliant, you have managed to capture the essence of jim in the sculpt, it actually made me laugh out loud.
Top Job.
Dave
Great sculpt!
I knew who it was before reading it.
Too bad the hair isn’t 3d.
daveripley: thank you very much, I’m very happy that he is recognizable
roger: Thanx Man
caffeineandpixels: Hello , yeah i focused more on the face rather than other things. do you think he looks like Jim?
Cool work, great resemblance on the Rowan atkinson portrait.
Hello man, thanx a lot

Great sculpt! and thank you for posting your sculpting video, those are always great.
I am curious to know if this was rendered in mental ray? The reason I ask is because I can never get displacements to work well in mental ray. I have viewed many tutorials about displacement in MR but they never match my zbrush sculpt.
