cool sculpts
Base provided by Gentle Giant. Helmet base mesh, as well and then modified by me.
Warcraft’s Gul’Dan for Gentle Giant Ltd. Starting initially with artistic assets (major kudos to the brilliant original artists) I reworked them significantly enough and engineered the piece into something like 70 or 80 workable parts to feel worthy of posting this. Up to now I have never posted anything begun from licensed assets but in this case I will make an exception as it was one of the most difficult and satistisfying jobs I have ever worked on. Great art direction by Gabriel Garcia and also Dev Gilmore. Digital work by me, finishes by the Giant’s awesome team of artists.
