Rocky Devil
so keyshot offers decent and useful renders for water, liquid and glass?
that sounds nice. because i think about buying the keyshot bridge plugin the next weeks or days.
so you say its really worth the money?
What are the render options. can i render something like a png of the object too or a mask?
so i can easily work on the model in photoshop instead of selecting and masking it first?
Yes Shumetsua, Keyshot pretty much cover all the materials you can think of. It can easily render png and masks as well.
To me it definitely worth it as it offers the fastest way to render out good images.
If you are unsure of what it can offer why not check out some of the videos on their YouTube channels, https://www.youtube.com/user/KeyShot3D/videos. Or this short intro video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dm2-FPL80SA (another nice perk is their channel has a lot of free tutorials)
Hehe.
I think I already decided to purchase it with my next salary about the end of the month
But there s a Trial to and i should check it out^^
but first i need to create something worth to render
All the best!
But remember practice makes perfect, don’t feel like you have to have the perfect model to start using it and trying it out. : )
sure
i steel nee to learn a lot of basics XD
just like to clean up some topology of a surface. which seemed much easier on sculptris
or is there a just add polygons and just lower polygon for a certain area tool too?
i thought about creating a fairy like the on in berserk.
and the hair/wings will be quite tricky of her
some kind of material like your jellyfish would be nice but they start of a less transparent position just as if the wings are her hair.
i noticed its not easy to paint some soft gradients between different colors. but if I want something with different materials, I always have a clean cut.
do you know if something as a soft switch from on material to an other is possible?
or should i try to just trick it with textures and painting?
I think you can render different materials that you need and just blend them in Photoshop with masks, then apply textures and paintings to achieve what you want, however this only apply to 2D image though.
Alien Demon
Dragon Horse! Brilliant. I’d like to ride one but it looks a bit prickly.
