Impressive feature!
The geometry just stick to the skeleton like rigging!
Can’t wait to dig… great tool
a brave man is a brave man only when he remains to his words.
Hey congratulation for the new update.
Its looking really great and graceful.
We are the ZSpheres II.
All resistance is futile.
All I need is a better retopo set. Then stick a fork in me… I’M DONE! This update is quite amazing.
Seconded!!!
And Pixologic hangs another foot into the ass of mediocrity!
Awesome!
This looks VERY interesting.
Can’t wait 'till I can get my hands on it.
Looks like more traditional sculpting process.
Just looks like I have to wait longer.
very powerful tool
will use it
In the introduction the rat like fellow has zsphere fingers… is there a way to make the fingers with the armature and coat them in zpheres2 without have in the sphere’s come together to form a mitten?
Now that zbrush 3.5 is out anyone know what material are they using on the zspheres on the video to make it look like theyre fading from red to white?
That is when the begin to edit the spheres. It turns whitish.
squeige they just are using the gradient feature in the color palette
Yeah I tried that did not work, I did learn you need to hit colorize to be able to paint them, I will continue trying to figure it out also interesting was the fact that I learned that one of the things i liked was that you did not see circles when zsketching and that was easy just turn down the cavity in the shader and now they look like single masses.
Another thing I learned is if you fill the main zsphere armature with a color white in this case when you smooth the zshperes they start getting the color of whatever theyre touching.
Can someone from pixologic see if they can tell us best way to get the same workflow?
The artist is smoothing the ZSketch stroke after applying it in the video. If you look closely you’ll see the stroke is all pink first and then the ends turn white as they smooth. So they’re using the technique you just learned.
Z-Spheres were always going to be the separator between this program and the competition. This just takes it to a whole new level. I’m was happy to see how the demonstration incorporated the sculpting clay material. Outstanding job.
I’m getting weird things, I’m not sure whom to ask or where to go… I’ve watched all the tutorials on zpheres II but when I’m trying to unify the zspheres ii and the normal zpheres I’m not getting the results I think I ‘m supposed to get… for example I made just a T pose… Then I added Zpheres II from the arms to the body like wings… but when binding it the side of the geom barley hit the the arms? Also with fingers if I don’t’ bind it to the zpheres and JUST use zpheres II can anyone make individual finger in normal geom? my results are a big blob?( anyone have an idea?
TIA
Varek open up a thread and show some pics of what you mean, and I am sure well all try to help out, there are some settings you can play with such as mesh res and density to work out these types of problems.
